Chapter 82 - chapter 80

Hello guys, I'm back~~~

And because of that 10 chapters in advance

-------------------------------------------------------------

"Huh~"

After letting out a long breath, Ye Qiu suppressed the slight dissatisfaction in his heart. He stepped out of the academy and took a proper look at the scenery around him.

Along the way, he passed several mimicry training grounds. The sheer scale of them made him once again realize what it truly meant to be rich and powerful.

Just as he was about to leave, a loud shout came from behind.

"Surround him! Protect the prince!"

The domineering voice echoed through the courtyard.

Dozens of uniformed students quickly surrounded Ye Qiu.

"Boom!"

A figure with broken limbs—Han Man—was thrown to the ground in front of him.

'Prince? Could it be Xue Beng?'

Ye Qiu raised his eyebrows and looked toward the approaching crowd.

He saw Xue Beng walking at the center, surrounded by followers. His reddish-brown long hair shone under the light. His complexion was pale, his eyes gloomy, and his chin was lifted arrogantly as he walked. Behind him, two men carried a stretcher. On it lay Sa Buchu.

The students stepped aside, allowing Xue Beng to stand before Ye Qiu. He looked arrogant, yet a faint gleam flickered deep within his eyes.

"Boy! Are you Ye Qiu?"

Ye Qiu looked calmly at the Fourth Prince of Tiandou.

"That's right. I am."

"Good. Very good."

"In Tiandou Academy, there are actually people who dare to beat this prince?"

Clap!

Xue Beng clapped slowly as if applauding Ye Qiu, but his eyes darkened.

Ye Qiu spread his hands, looking innocent and composed.

"I haven't even touched him. How can you slander me out of thin air?"

"Heh. Since you know who I am, you should understand clearly. If I say you hit him—then you did."

Xue Beng smirked. He had no interest in arguing logic.

His principle was simple—arrogance to the end.

Ye Qiu felt that although Xue Beng acted domineering, his gaze seemed to be constantly observing him.

"Then what do you want?"

Before Xue Beng could answer, Sa Buchu shouted from the stretcher.

"Brother Xue Beng! Break his limbs! All five! Break all five!"

"Did you hear that?" Xue Beng sneered. "My brother wants your limbs broken."

Ye Qiu chuckled coldly.

"You can try."

Now he understood. They had come purely to provoke him.

"Fine! Break his five limbs! Do it!"

As he gave the order, Xue Beng subtly stepped backward.

"Brothers! Release your Martial Souls!"

In an instant, colorful lights flashed everywhere. Various Martial Souls appeared, dazzling the courtyard.

Ye Qiu's voice turned cold.

"I wonder if Prince Xue Beng can afford the consequences if these people lose their arms or legs?"

The jade-like pupils in his eyes transformed into hexagonal patterns. If he truly fought, casualties would be inevitable.

Yet he did not move.

Because—

"Within Tiandou Academy, this prince is the heavens! There is nothing I cannot afford!"

"Really? It seems my good brother has become quite capable."

A majestic yet teasing voice suddenly echoed.

Cold sweat instantly formed on Xue Beng's forehead.

Everyone turned toward the voice.

Xue Qinghe walked over slowly, golden hair shining, his noble attire immaculate.

"Big Brother!"

Like a mouse seeing a cat, Xue Beng's arrogance instantly vanished, replaced with submission.

"Why are you not ordering them to stop? Can you afford to injure my honored guest?"

Though Xue Qinghe's tone was calm, anger flickered beneath it.

"Yes, yes! I'll stop them immediately!"

Xue Beng nodded frantically.

"You idiots! Why are your Martial Souls still out? If you scare my brother's distinguished guest, I'll kill you!"

Arrogant one moment, humble the next—he switched expressions effortlessly.

Ye Qiu couldn't help admiring his acting skills.

The students quickly withdrew their Martial Souls.

Ye Qiu stepped forward.

"Thank you, Your Highness."

"Brother Ye Qiu, no need for such formality. I already know what happened. It was this fool who lacked manners."

Then he turned sharply.

"Xue Beng! Apologize to Brother Ye Qiu!"

Xue Beng's face stiffened, clearly reluctant.

"Brother Ye Qiu… I'm sorry."

His head was lowered, resentment flashing across his eyes. But when he looked up, he wore a flattering smile.

"Are you satisfied? If not, I'll personally punish them."

"No need."

Ye Qiu raised a hand to stop Xue Qinghe. His eyes glowed faintly red.

"I'll do it myself."

"Brother! That's impossible!" Xue Beng panicked.

"Brother Ye Qiu," Xue Qinghe frowned slightly, "Xue Beng is still royalty. That would violate the rules."

"Don't worry," Ye Qiu said calmly. "I know my limits."

He pointed toward Sa Buchu.

"I only want to punish him."

Xue Qinghe glanced at the stretcher and nodded.

Sa Buchu began wailing.

"No! Your Highness, I was wrong!"

But it was useless.

Ye Qiu did not move personally.

Under everyone's shocked gaze, Xue Beng's expression turned blank.

Like a puppet, he walked toward the stretcher. He grabbed Sa Buchu with one hand.

"Ah! Brother Xue Beng—don't—AHHH!!"

The scream was shrill and heart-piercing.

Since Sa Buchu wanted Ye Qiu's limbs broken, Ye Qiu showed no mercy.

The "crime tool" was destroyed completely.

If not treated immediately, once it healed naturally, the damage would be permanent.

Xue Qinghe's expression turned slightly unnatural. He secretly rolled his eyes at Ye Qiu.

"How about now? Satisfied?"

"Fair enough."

Ye Qiu nodded.

"You must have already eaten. Allow me to escort you and chat."

"If the prince personally escorts me, how could I refuse?"

After exchanging polite words, the two left together.

Behind them, Xue Beng suddenly let out a strange chuckle.

"Heh… Heh…"

It sounded mocking—and slightly chilling.

'I thought my dear brother had discovered some peerless genius. Turns out it's just illusion-type soul skills.'

He licked the blood from his hand, a sick expression of enjoyment flashing across his face. A faint scarlet mist flickered in his eyes, radiating evil intent.

But when he blinked, everything returned to normal. Once again, he looked like an ordinary spoiled prince.

Sa Buchu lay pale and trembling.

"Brother Xue Beng…"

"Shut up! If it weren't for your father gifting me those catgirls last time, I'd kill you right now!"

Xue Beng snarled.

If Sa Buchu hadn't exaggerated Ye Qiu's strength, he wouldn't have come to test him and suffer humiliation.

He squeezed again.

Another scream.

Then silence—Sa Buchu fainted.

"Throw him back."

Xue Beng waved dismissively.

A crippled waste who could no longer inherit his family's business had no value to him.

"Hmph."

He flicked his sleeves and walked away.

Today's humiliation—

He would repay it in the future.
