In 2023, Wolverine (Logan) reversed the future, opened his reborn eyes, and was granted animal-like life energy by Lancelot.
"Spirituality."
Logan pressed his right hand to the ground. In an instant, mysterious runes appeared before all the mutants.
Boom.
White mist rose from the rune array, and Lancelot appeared before the mutants of the future.
"So this is the future?"
Lancelot stepped forward. Empowered by the spiritual force of the Path of Animal Reincarnation, he ignored the distance of time and space.
He glanced around at the mutants, then walked straight out of the base.
"Planetary Devourer."
Gazing at the Sentinels still flying outside, Lancelot opened his right hand. A small black sphere floated into the sky, instantly releasing an overwhelming gravitational force. Countless Sentinels were dragged into the air and swallowed whole.
After finishing everything, Lancelot looked back once at the future mutants, then walked to the center of the base and sat down proudly.
"Long live my King."
With Professor X and Magneto at the lead, the remaining fifteen mutants all bowed in salute.
"The reversed future has been terminated. The Sentinel crisis is over."
Lancelot raised his hand. Standing behind the Professor, Kitty Pryde (Shadowcat) instantly appeared before him.
"Shadowcat Kitty, your power is extremely special. You can return to the past at the atomic level."
The young Kitty before him was the key to restoring the correct time and space.
"My King… I can only send consciousness back," Kitty said nervously.
"Don't belittle yourself, Kitty."
Lancelot gently touched her hair, his expression turning solemn.
"Geass. Release the full potential of your mutation."
A bird flew out from Lancelot's eye and entered Kitty's.
Her mind roared. Her body floated upward as limitless power surged from within. Her mutation rapidly evolved—her body disintegrated into atoms, reassembled, then dissolved again.
She entered a wondrous quantum world filled with countless particles.
"So beautiful…" Kitty whispered as radiant light erupted from her body.
Under the blessing of Lancelot's Geass, she ascended to Level Six Mutation—Omega-Level.
Her power officially transformed from phasing through matter into time travel.
"Excellent, Shadowcat Kitty."
"My King, long live the King!" Kitty said excitedly after reassembling.
"Now, Kitty Pryde—open the path to the Prime Universe."
"I obey, my great King, Lancelot."
Golden light burst from her eyes. Space twisted violently, and a brilliant, multicolored time tunnel opened—connecting directly to the Mutant Evolution House timeline.
Lancelot glanced once at Professor X and the others, then at Kitty and the mutants.
Whether it was Kitty's time-travel mutation or Blink's spatial portals, both were terrifyingly powerful abilities—yet rarely used to their full extent.
With the Eye of Reincarnation awakened, Lancelot no longer feared any threat in the world.
But he knew this clearly:
Even Earth in the 1970s faced countless dangers—
not to mention the coming Celestial Egg and its seed.
Late-1980s apocalypse events and 1990s Kree invasions were all future threats.
"Earth limits mutant evolution. It's time to implement my space plan."
With Darwin's evolutionary ability, the Mutant Evolution House could adapt even in extreme environments.
If evolution was possible in the vacuum of space, why remain bound to Earth?
"Space-Based Mutant Evolution House—put it on the agenda."
With a faint smile, Lancelot stepped into the time tunnel.
Boom.
The fractured timeline collapsed and merged into the Prime Universe.
From that moment on, there was no longer a future like X-Men, X2: X-Men United, or X-Men: The Last Stand—
only a new mutant timeline, and Apocalypse, who would awaken in the 1980s.
Lancelot passed through a bizarre quantum realm. His Future Eye opened automatically, receiving changes from non-cosmic timelines.
One second later, he returned to 1973, the Prime Universe—at the former Base 780 in New Jersey, now completely abandoned.
The reversed future faded like a dream bubble.
"Finally… home."

Lancelot smiled deeply.
He had decided to lead mutantkind beyond Earth—and conquer the universe.
