After knocking on the door, Yukito waited quietly outside, faintly hearing hurried footsteps approaching from within.
When the tightly shut door finally opened, Yukito looked at the person standing before him, and the smile that had just appeared on his face instantly froze.
He had never expected to run into Akiyama Rinko while coming to visit Shiranui Mizuki and Yukikaze.
And seeing Akiyama Rinko standing there in her pajamas, her sleepy eyes suggesting she had only just woken up, made him wonder when exactly she had come here.
Still dressed in her pajamas, Akiyama Rinko met Yukito's gaze.
The moment she saw the frozen smile on Yukito's face, every trace of drowsiness disappeared. As she stared at him, her eyes filled with resentment and an indescribably complicated emotion.
After witnessing what had happened the previous night, her mind had remained occupied by the images of Yukito, Yatsu Murasaki, Igawa Sakura, and Koukawa Oboro together.
Even after returning to her own room, she felt as though she could still hear strange noises coming from next door, leaving her unable to rest and forcing her to come here to find Yukikaze.
"Yukito, did you come to see Yukikaze or Shiranui Mizuki?"
