love, lust and obsession

Doreen was a young beautiful olive skinned girl with oval shaped face, big brown eyes and long luscious, dark curly hair running to her waist, but something is missing in her eyes, in her smile.. her smile doesn't reach her eyes, it was like she is smiling just for the sake of doing it. There was no spirit in her eyes as she lost her father three months ago in an accident. She was grieving her father's death, her face was always moist with tears, her voice was low all the time, she lost interest in everything around her, she skipped her uni just to stay in the hostel dorm and cry her heart out and yet she some how managed to finish her third semester in her university. She got 15 days of vacation till the beginning of new semester, that is all the time she got to clear her thoughts and glue herself to start it fresh. But, she was depressed with the events that has taken place in her life and as her family couldn't see her in depression, they asked her to visit one of the events they were going to attend, thinking socialising might help her forget about those dreadful memories. Doreen was not happy about the thought of going to any event at this point in her life, all she wanted was to get away from these emotions that have been haunting her since the death of her father, she hoped to stay away from people and if possible, lock herself in a room where she finds quiet and peace in the darkness. Despite her unwillingness, her mother insisted that she must go to that event, little did she know that it's going to change her daughters life forever. Little did she know that Doreen's overwhelming feeling of limerence can lead to intense emotional highs and lows.
