Chapter 17 - Using Misma of Tidal Abyss To cultivate!

Back to Wang Li, he threw the map into the storage bag, before continuing on his journey.

He was even more confident knowing that he had a solid backing, but that wasn't enough to survive in this world.

He took the example of that monk meddling in his business seriously.

"If one day my backing is not strong enough, then my fate might not fare any differently. Best to use the opportunities I have to elevate myself." He reminded himself to work harder.

His figure wasn't slow though, as he rushed to his destination.

Five hours later, when the sun had just set, he finally discovered something.

When he looked into the distance, he saw some darkness coalescing in the sky, and within was chilling manovelent force.

Just from a distance he could feel a strong yearning from his Mountain and Seas Art.

"Damn! If someone else were to see this level of scene they should want to avoid it, as far away as possible but I have nothing but expectation. I'm really becoming a small villain of my life." He thought to himself with a wicked smile.

He could already tell that was his destination, the Tidal Abyss. Rumors about this place are a lot, but someone like Wang Li probably didn't care about this. He wanted to see if his Mountain and Seas Art could swallow this poisonous miasma.

Just from what he had already observed so far, the more poisonous energy he absorbed, the darker the Seas of his Mountain and Seas art appeared.

Once technique reached the Earth grade, what was being cultivated was intent. Intent at this stage was capable of manifesting a virtual image. For sword cultivators, it was a virtual image of a sword hanging behind their backs. Only when cultivated to perfection of Earth grade technique could one grasp the essence of the technique and internalize this Virtual image.

The internalized virtual image was capable of allowing one to unleash higher combat power once it manifests inside the body.

In Wang Li's case, the Mountains and Seas technique has already been internalized and his technique was more like a virtual world slowly taking form towards something real.

The seas in the virtual image had turned darker and he had a feeling the more turbid it turned, the terrifying benefits he might get.

So, other than wanting to take advantage of the poisonous energy to push his transformation of blood further, he was trying to speed up the process of the sea changing.

He looked into the sky, but his figure appeared in no rush to approach.

"I should target the periphery first and then use the Divine blood obtained from the monk with purifying abilities to fuse the Five Earth grade techniques he left behind into my Mountains and Seas Art." Wang Li thought.

He clearly didn't just ask for this technique for no reason. He felt the path cultivated by these monks was somewhat interesting.

Just like that he immediately set out to implement his goal.

At the periphery of the tidal abyss, no vegetation could be seen, but darkness and gloom.

He sat down, and produced the bottles containing the divine blood.

He then picked up one and gulped down before focusing on the jade slips. One after another he read through patiently, grasping key concepts.

He was even faster than before and the essence of this technique was slowly peeled off and infused into the Mountains and Seas Art.

Without even realizing, it had taken just a few hours and his Mountain and seas art changed.

It went from perfect level to small success level. Instead of panic, a strange smile appeared on his face.

"Interesting. Now I know how to speed up the process of transformation of blood and Qi. Just fuse more techniques and push the technique back to perfection." The moment he had this thought, it couldn't be stopped.

He pulled five more earth grade techniques from Wang Lu's collection and repeated the process.

To his surprise, it was far from enough to revert back to the entry stage of intent.

"Interesting! It seems my previous thoughts were somewhat naive. But even so, it doesn't matter, let's use this means as it still works." He pulled more and more jade slips and before realizing it, only one earth grade technique was left.

"Hope you won't let me down!" He thought he continued to read through but eventually he failed.

Only Ancient scriptures were left in place.

Wang Li clearly didn't think twice and focussed on them. This time it took longer to read through each of them, but the gains were not small.

Just adding ten of them, the technique dropped to the entry stage.

What was even more shocking was his breathing had changed from before, it was something natural, but with every inhale, each of his cells was becoming stronger.

That was not all, the energy from the Divine essence vanished faster, he had to swallow the divine blood as well as demonic blood to the remaining bottles.

The shocking thing was that the sun ring behind the figure floating in the sky had transformed. The vague phantom had become sacred as though bathed in golden light. The figure appeared even more elusive and illusionary than before as though attempting to detach itself.

The Divine blood on the other hand, seemed to have been stimulated by something.

It appeared as though it was burning as the essence was extracted and fused with his Qi and blood.

Without much difficulty, he easily leapt through the fourth transformation.

Roar!

A strange violent roar erupted from within his bloodline as he felt some kind of shackle being forcefully crushed.

Other than intense satisfaction that flashed through his mind once it happened, his body underwent another change.

His blood vessels and internal structure was expanded again. This time the change was even greater. His cells were divided faster, the capacity of his body was expanded by thousands of times.

That was not all, he felt weak all over. A rumbling sound echoed as he felt he needed vast energy.

He didn't waste time and rushed deeper into the Tidal Abyss where erie dark poisonous mist converged towards him.

Instead of panicking, he opened his mouth and greedily inhaled it in.

Who knew, his actions didn't just help, but made his stomach grumble even more.

He stopped moving and sat in place and a whirlpool of poisonous miasma formed disrupting the silent Tidal Abyss.

The heavy waters in the sea Image inside his body turned completely dark, but it didn't stop churning as it devoured the manovelent dark poisons.

When the mist began to lessen, Wang Li opened his eyes that contained nothing but deep darkness.

He walked further in and continued to cultivate using the same method.

This time though, he realized the energy being feedback to his body was barely enough to support his hunger and couldn't help much with blood transformation.

All the rest was being completely swallowed by the Seas.

"It seems like the dream of undergoing the fifth transformation in this place is not going to happen. Even more importantly, the energy required is vast, only going to the Netherworld is this problem going to be solved." Wang Li thought silently, as he refrained himself from going further in the Tidal Abyss.

He felt a creeping fear envelop him as he thought of going deeper.

Since he couldn't venture further he decided to stay in this place for the next period and attempt to slowly raise Mountain and Seas Art back to perfection. It was just that he knew this was impossible.

Unless he obtained a vast supply of energy his body it was impossible for this little miasma to support rapid comprehension of the Mountains and Seas Art.

Even though he knew this, he didn't mind for the small gains and focused.

Before he knew it, he had been in this place for a year and eight months.

Even though he had not moved from entry level of intent, it had reached peak of entry level.

With just some accumulation he was sure he could reach mastery stage. The transformation brought about by this change was combat strength and a slight transformation of his blood and Qi.

The notable gain was that the Heavy water had completely transformed into a dark vicious liquid. It could no longer be referred to as water. It appeared more like crude oil than anything else.

The quality of poisonous mist was lacking for it to continue transformation, but Wang Li was sure once he improved the Mountains and Seas Art from entry level it would transform.

The massive dark seas had already reached some limit, and this was why more accumulation of misma poison at the location he was wasn't enough.

But even so, Wang Li was already satisfied. He no longer had any reason to remain in this place.

"Only after reaching the Martial Origin Realm can one be capable of utilizing Intent image. At that point, it should be called supernatural power." Wang Li was no longer someone ignorant.

He was also sure that once he practiced the Intent of Mountain and Seas Art to the state of transformation, then it would indeed turn into a minor supernatural power.

But this was far from him, just the ability to augment his Qi and Blood raising his power to insane levels was already enough at this juncture.

"Its time to head back." Wang Li walked out of the tidal abyss without even looking back.
