BOOOOM!
The world exploded with the force of my ki as I blasted into Slug's chest with the full force of a picture-perfect version of Pepper's Blitz Explosion technique. His energy managed to condense to partially block it, but it still destroyed whatever remained of the upper part of the young-looking Namekian's shirt, blasting him back and generating a massive shockwave of pure force that instantly changed the surrounding ground into a large crater with the scene of the crash as the center.
I didn't stop there, though.
Without hesitation, I launched into a massive, furious offensive.
My leg slammed into Slug's back, throwing him into the sky, where I batted him around at mach speeds, every clash creating shockwaves as our movements repeatedly shattered the sound barrier.
Then, I blasted him into the ground and rained down a barrage of ki blasts and Horizon Discs directly into the center of the crater.
When my stamina finally waned for a second, I even topped it off with a Regalia Wave that contained so much of my energy that it nearly left me gasping for breath.
I caught my breath as I watched the dust cloud generated by my attack slowly disp-erse into the wind.
When the cloud finally did disperse, I wasn't particularly shocked to see Slug, alive and well, crawling out of the hole at the bottom of the crater, imprinted with the shape of his body.
That wasn't to say that my opening salvo of attacks did nothing. His body was peppered with cuts and bruises, and he gripped his arm and popped it back into place, since my attack had apparently dislocated it, with a loud noise that made him wince a bit.
He stared up at me with slitted pupils. For a long moment, neither of us moved. My power level stabilized back down at around 30 million, conserving my strength.
"You are the strongest on this planet." It wasn't a question. It was correct. It also felt rather condescending, which annoyed me.
"And you have really bad luck. I'd ask what brings a bastard like you to this little corner of the galaxy, but I don't really care about what dead people think, Worm." I quipped back.
Slug snorted, unperturbed. "The insults of dirt. Is the Namekian who calls this ball of dirt home as strong as you, as well?" He asked me.
I shrugged, "You'll never meet him, so what's it matter? Even if you, somehow, manage to kill me here and now, I'm not this planet's final line of defense."
Slug's eyes turned to pinpricks, "There are stronger fighters on this rock?! How!?"
I'd never said that.
The truth was, I wasn't talking about stronger fighters. Or even Tater and Lynn, even though I was fairly certain that, if she fought this guy after he beat me, Lynn would end up unlocking the Super Saiyan transformation and destroying the guy.
Even if I died, I was pretty certain that just being able to stall Slug for a moment was enough to get me the right to keep my body in the Otherworld after death. That meant that there wouldn't be an issue with it if I went down Snake Way and had King Kai act as a relay to Fortuneteller Baba.
If she brought me back, I'd have twenty-four hours to do whatever I needed to do in the living world. Including gathering all seven Dragon Balls and wishing myself back to life, no strings attached.
That was the planet's real final resort.
But it wouldn't be needed today. I could tell… I could beat this guy.
I knew that was exactly what Zeck had thought, but this time was different… I'd make it different, to revive my friend.
Wordlessly, I began preparing myself for the real fight.
Yet again, I didn't hold anything back.
My aura climbed. A soft, white veil of light appeared, inches off of my skin, wreathing my entire body.
This wasn't some byproduct of SSJP being pushed to its limits, but a technique I'd developed following my loss to Lynn and Pepper. I called it 'Blutz Overdriving' the SSJP state.
The theory was actually deceptively simple.
Ikari mode was essentially the process of drawing Blutz waves from my tail and converting it into usable energy via my S-Cells.
When the process went over the limit without proper control, the S-Cells didn't activate properly. At that point, the Saiyan's dormant DNA, from about two evolution steps ago, activated in its stead, transforming the Saiyan into a gigantic ape for the purpose of life-preservation.
Increasing the size of the container to prevent 'overflow', essentially.
However, when the S-Cells did properly activate, they processed all of that power. That was the SSJP state.
Thus, my question became 'what happens when the Blutz Wave capacity overflows while SSJP is activated?
The answer? The S-Cells adapted. Of course, they still had their limits. Going beyond those limits was an incredibly dangerous process, but forcing more Blutz Waves through the S-Cells while they were activated could, at least temporarily, massively increase the power level multiplier of the SSJP state.
This was done by using the foundation of the Power Ball technique, which was essentially a big ball in the sky that converted solar energy into Blutz Waves, and spreading it across one's own skin instead.
This was an incredibly advanced and difficult move that'd taken me a total of three months to master. Pepper, who'd already learned the Power Ball from me back on Namek, long ago, had tried, but been forced to stop working on the technique after she'd gotten pregnant.
For me, though, the technique brought the power multiplier of my SSJP form all the way up from 10 to somewhere around 30. That put my power level somewhere around 100 million… Almost identical to Slug's.
