Seeing the completely unharmed Leviathan come charging back, the noble young man covered his face in despair. Helpless tears slid down his cheeks as he wailed:
"Why… I'm clearly just the eldest son of the Septimont Motley family. I only came out to travel! Why did I have to run into a Threnodian?"
"It's not time to give up yet. Put those few drops of horse piss back where they came from."
Noah barked sharply. He glanced at the disheveled noble youth beside him, opened his panel, and swept a look over his current stats.

Noah unclenched his tightly gripped fist. A steaming bowl of fragrant food appeared out of thin air in his hand. He handed it toward the youth beside him:
"Eat this. I — guarantee your safety!"
With those words, he bent his knees slightly, pushed off with his feet, and charged straight toward Leviathan again without dodging or retreating.
Would he win? He didn't know.
Would he die? He didn't know either.
He only knew that he was the only one here who could fight. Even if he couldn't hold out, he still had to hold the line.
If he didn't, once Leviathan fused with the true consciousness imprisoned in the high tower, the consequences would only be far worse.
In place, the noble youth stared blankly at the still-hot dish in his hands, momentarily at a complete loss.
In such a hopeless situation, who could still have the appetite to eat — especially such a large, scalding-hot bowl?
A wisp of the food's aroma drifted out and entered his nostrils. He sniffed, and saliva unconsciously gathered at the back of his throat.
…Maybe it wouldn't be so bad to die full.

On the battlefield, enormous black waves surged forward like a tsunami gone mad. Noah used the flower vines as surfboards, riding the tide across the sea, streaking through this inverted night sky like lightning.
The hand gripping the vine suddenly tightened. Like a released spring, he shot upward, body leaning forward, rocketing toward Leviathan like an arrow loosed from the bow.
The thick, resilient vine was swung with force, cutting through the air with a sharp whistle and carving a deep gash across Leviathan's massive body.
A large volume of black tide poured out from the wound — like some kind of repair agent — slowly mending the injury once again.
"No good… No matter how much damage I inflict, the black tide can just fuse back into its body. And its outer shell is way too tough. Surface wounds don't mean anything to it at all…"
So was it really true — as it had said — that without Imperator's separation authority, it was impossible to truly harm it?
If this continued, his stamina would eventually run out. Forget stamina — even this prolonged battle had already unavoidably let traces of the black tide cling to him.
Noah clenched his teeth hard. His brows furrowed deeply as he racked his brain for a way to break the deadlock.
High in the air, he suddenly clutched his head tightly. The mental pollution from the black tide erupted in his mind with an unbearable, indescribable chorus of whispers.
On the other side.
"Hahahaha! Just as I expected — just as I expected!"
Cristoforo, watching from afar, couldn't help but burst into laughter:
"Threnodian · Leviathan is sufficiently powerful. Its body is immortal and indestructible. It stands in an invincible position. Noah is simply no match for it."
"Don't speak so absolutely."
Phrolova stared intently at the distant figure weaving and dodging frantically amid the endless black tide and vines.
The boundless black tide merged seamlessly with the heavy, cloud-covered sky — impossible to tell up from down.
Now, all of Ragunna had been devoured by darkness. Only that one person remained as the sole light here — shining, struggling.
She recalled the time inside the [Statue of the Crownless] domain, when Noah and his duplicate had fought each other blow for blow until both were on the verge of death.
Back then she had thought this person had already been pushed into absolute desperation. So what if he still had one last breath? The Dreamless's scythe had already been right at his throat.
Yet in the end, that person not only miraculously recovered, but his combat power had surged to an unimaginable degree. Even when she and the Dreamless joined forces, he had beaten them down brutally.
Phrolova unconsciously bit her lower lip lightly. Her gaze dropped slightly.
Facing the immortal, indestructible Threnodian Leviathan… could this person still create a miracle?
"I just feel… he won't be defeated that easily."
"Ha? Trying to be funny again, Phrolova? Think carefully — even if he really wins, what good does that do you?"
Cristoforo sneered disdainfully. A script slowly materialized in his hand:
"For a playwright, appropriate doubt can actually be quite rewarding. Since you have such blind faith in that person's abilities and refuse to accept reality, then I—"
"Will simply give him a push!"
"Watch closely and see what kind of ending he ultimately falls into!"
Invisible power spread outward through the blood-red script.
In the distance, countless vines hanging in midair vanished from the pitch-black waves as though pages torn from a book.
"What!"
Noah felt the ground disappear beneath his feet. In midair, he suddenly lost balance.
On this life-or-death battlefield, any mistake was fatal — especially when the erosion of the black tide had already made it difficult for him to focus.
Sure enough, Leviathan did not miss this precious opening. It leaped high out of the water. Its abyss-like maw gaped wide and swallowed Noah in one gulp.
Seeing this scene, Cristoforo laughed even more uncontrollably, his whole body shaking as though witnessing something that brought him extreme delight:
"Threnodian · Leviathan, Lord of Secrets and Tides."
"The mental pollution inside its body is a hundred times stronger than the black tide. And Noah could barely even withstand the black tide itself — now he has no chance of resisting at all."
"..."
Phrolova pressed her lips together, lowered her gaze, turned away, and let out a faint sigh:
"It seems… the ending is already decided."
But just as she was about to take a step, her movement suddenly froze.
Because a low murmur rose from the center of the battlefield, clearly echoing across the entire ruins of Ragunna.
"Crimson blossom!"
Phrolova and Cristoforo whipped their heads around in shock. From inside Leviathan's maw, countless terrifying, powerful crimson rays of light were pouring out.
"How is this possible!"
Cristoforo sucked in a sharp breath, disbelief written across his face. Blood vessels crawled into his eyes:
"Shouldn't he… shouldn't he have already been completely mentally polluted by Leviathan? How is he still resisting?!"

Leviathan thrashed in pain. It could feel an extremely terrifying energy desperately accumulating inside its body. If this energy were allowed to erupt…
"In full bloom!"
With a deafening roar, blinding blood-colored radiance exploded outward from Leviathan's body — as though a blood sun had descended upon the world, like a nuclear detonation.
Leviathan let out one final, agonized scream. Its thousand-meter-long colossal body was effortlessly torn to shreds by the explosion and shockwave.
Terrifying giant waves surged outward in all directions with it at the center. If viewed from high above, one would see circular black tides rising in the blast wave — as though an apocalyptic storm had engulfed the entirety of Ragunna.
A massive black mushroom cloud slowly rose, piercing straight into the heavens.

"..."
Cristoforo was silent for a long moment. He stiffly turned his head to look at Phrolova, who was struggling to use her frequency modulation ability to resist the aftermath. He forced out an ugly smile:
"He really is strong. I'll admit that."
"But… Leviathan is immortal and indestructible."
"He has no ability to separate the black tide. There is absolutely no way he can win."
The words had barely left his mouth when countless floating scrolls suddenly appeared above the black tide that had swallowed Ragunna.
Vast amounts of black tide madly surged into one scroll after another. Once a scroll was filled, it rolled up, and another scroll immediately unfurled in its place.
The water level of the black tide across all of Ragunna was visibly dropping at a speed the naked eye could follow.
"No —"
The little bit of face he had just barely salvaged with words was once again completely lost. Cristoforo's composure shattered:
"What the hell kind of monstrous ability is this?!"
