By the time I get downstairs, he's still waiting down stairs.
And the second his eyes land on me…..He freezes and his gaze drags over me once. Then again this time and then…..He exhales sharply, shaking his head like he already knows where this is going.
"Hell no."
I blink.
"What?"
"You are not going out like that," he says flatly.
I frown slightly, looking down at myself like I'm trying to see what the issue is.
"What's wrong with it?"
"What's wrong with it?" he repeats, almost like he doesn't believe I asked that.
"Yes," I say, crossing my arms slightly. "What's wrong with it?"
He lets out a short, dry laugh.
"If you walk into that place dressed like that," he says, stepping closer, his voice dropping slightly, "I'll have to remove the eyes of every man that looks at you."
I stare at him for a second then scoff.
"That's so caveman of you."
He doesn't even deny it, just keeps looking at me.
"I'm not changing," I add, lifting my chin slightly.
His jaw tightens.
