Jujutsu Kaisen World
When Chu Yang opened his eyes again, the panic and fear on his face were already gone.
All that remained was a cold, razor-sharp killing intent.
The curse on the wall had pressed most of its body against Chu Yang's back, its hands clamped tightly onto his shoulders.
"Hehehe…"
That chilling laughter echoed throughout the stairwell.
Chu Yang reached up and grabbed the curse's hand.
The laughter stopped abruptly.
He spun around and saw an extremely ugly face—
as if facial features torn from four or five rag dolls had been crudely stitched together.
Grotesque. Horrifying.
The instant Chu Yang turned, the curse let out a short, shrill scream!
It opened its blood-filled mouth and lunged straight for Chu Yang's head!
In a split second—
Brilliant blue lightning erupted around Chu Yang's body, shrieking just as sharply.
The curse bit down on the Lightning Release Armor surrounding him.
Beneath the lightning layer was another coating of Armament Haki.
The harder it bit, the more brutal the backlash!
Blood burst from the curse's mouth in rapid succession, lightning surging inward through the wounds.
"AAAAAH!!!"
The curse screamed hysterically, but before long, its cries weakened.
The lightning armor around Chu Yang dissipated.
With one hand, he lifted the barely-alive curse, preparing to deliver the finishing blow.
"Yang-kun?"
Chu Yang looked down and saw Nanami Kento gazing up at him from the stairs below.
Nanami was holding a blade that radiated an ominous aura.
Chu Yang scratched his head, silently calculating how he should explain all this.
"That was my miscalculation, Yang-kun," Nanami said. "I thought you were just an ordinary person…"
Adjusting his glasses, Nanami leapt up in one motion and landed in front of Chu Yang, slashing the curse at the 7:3 ratio point on its head.
The next instant, the curse dispersed.
The eerie atmosphere in the stairwell vanished at once, and Chu Yang could finally hear the bustling traffic sounds from outside.
Nanami silently studied Chu Yang.
"Senpai, what was that thing just now?" Chu Yang asked.
"You didn't know, and you still dared to fight it?"
"It attacked me. Of course I had to hit back."
"You little—"
Nanami was at a loss for words. It was his first time meeting someone this reckless. After spending quite a while with Chu Yang, he was absolutely certain that before today, there hadn't been even a trace of cursed energy on him.
"Did he instinctively capture cursed energy from negative emotions in a crisis and use it unconsciously…?"
That was the only explanation Nanami could think of.
"Nanami-senpai," Chu Yang asked, "can you explain what just happened?"
"No," Nanami replied flatly. "I'm off work."
"Didn't you resign?"
"As a jujutsu sorcerer, I'm also off work."
"What's a jujutsu sorcerer?"
"Dogshit."
"Senpai, that's not the answer I'm looking for."
"That's the only answer I can give."
This time, Chu Yang was the one left speechless. He used to find Nanami's constant complaints about work and the world amusing—but right now, it was just irritating.
Nanami took a deep breath, as if making up his mind about something.
"Do you plan to resign?" he asked.
Chu Yang nodded naturally. "That's why I asked which massage parlor you were going to work at."
Nanami took another deep breath, his eyelid twitching violently.
Even a vein near his temple was visibly throbbing…
This kid's brain is broken. Squeezed dry by the company. Don't bother arguing with him.
"Come to my place tomorrow," Nanami said. "I'll take you to meet someone."
With that, he turned and left.
No matter how Chu Yang shouted after him, Nanami didn't look back.
"Anyone's fine, just don't send me to Jujutsu High to be a student! How old am I already? I'd be laughed to death…"
Among all the versions of "himself," the Chu Yang of the Jujutsu Kaisen World had one absolute bottom line—
not becoming a student.
Early the next morning, Chu Yang went straight to Nanami's place.
Apparently to save money as fast as possible, Nanami lived somewhere extremely cheap—a rundown old apartment.
Chu Yang stood in front of a rusted iron door, about to knock, when it creaked open.
"Hello~!"
A white-haired man wearing an eye covering poked half his body out from inside, greeting Chu Yang with a grin.
Chu Yang asked politely, "I don't think I've got the wrong place. May I ask who you are?"
The white-haired man replied solemnly, "Nice to meet you. I'm Nanami's boyfriend."
Chu Yang fell silent for a moment, then shook his head regretfully."I never thought Nanami-senpai was into that…"
"Two idiots!"
Nanami suddenly appeared, yanked the door open, and looked at both of them with disdain.
"This is the person you're meeting today. His name is Gojo Satoru. He's a jujutsu sorcerer like me—slightly better than dogshit."
Adjusting his glasses, Nanami looked at Chu Yang. "Go in. Ask whatever you want. He'll explain."
Chu Yang nodded and stepped inside.
Gojo, meanwhile, watched Chu Yang closely, clearly intrigued.
"The smell of cursed energy is incredibly dense—and it's still growing," Gojo said. "Nanami, was he really just an ordinary person before?"
As a sorcerer possessing the once-in-a-century Six Eyes of the Gojo clan, Gojo could directly discern the state of someone's cursed energy.
This ability was like a fusion of the Sharingan and the Byakugan from the Naruto world.
"Until yesterday, he was still working overtime at the company," Nanami said firmly. "No one understands his situation better than I do. He really was just an ordinary human."
"If you say so…"
Before Gojo could finish his sentence, he suddenly attacked, throwing a punch straight at Chu Yang's head.
Chu Yang glanced at him coldly and raised a hand to block.
The entire exchange ended in less than a second.
Nanami's expression changed.
The smile on Gojo's face faded, replaced by genuine surprise.
To test Chu Yang's physical ability, Gojo had deliberately deactivated Infinity just now—
yet Chu Yang had actually managed to block the attack.
Gojo's interest was fully piqued.
Chu Yang immediately counterattacked using Fish-Man Karate, trying to seize Gojo's wrist—only to find he couldn't touch him at all.
A massive repulsive force erupted without warning, sending Chu Yang flying.
Twisting his waist midair, he used his powerful core strength to adjust his body, planted his feet against the ceiling, kicked off hard, flipped again, and landed steadily.
"Wow—outstanding physical specs!" Gojo exclaimed exaggeratedly.
Although Chu Yang hadn't touched him, the feedback from Infinity had already told Gojo just how terrifying Chu Yang's raw strength was.
"Amazing reaction speed. Among all the humans I've seen, only one could compare to you."
Gojo clicked his tongue in wonder. "That person's been dead for many years. His physical strength came at the cost of having almost zero cursed energy—but you…"
"Someone who possesses both overwhelming cursed energy and a powerful body—this is my first time seeing one."
Gojo turned to Nanami with a grin. "How did you manage to run into a monster like this just by working at a regular company?"
Nanami hadn't expected to hear such an evaluation from Gojo. The way he looked at Chu Yang was completely different now.
That was Gojo Satoru—
the acknowledged strongest jujutsu sorcerer alive.
When he called someone strong, that level of strength existed on an entirely different plane for everyone else.
"From that brief exchange, I can already confirm that you're human," Gojo said, tilting his head with his usual flippant demeanor. "Now I can safely teach you some basic knowledge."
Chu Yang nodded and casually sat down on the worn-out sofa in the living room.
Nanami adjusted his glasses again. "You really make yourself at home."
Chu Yang curled his lips. "Senpai, don't always look so stingy. At this rate, it'll be hard for you to save enough money to leave the country before forty."
Nanami's eyebrow twitched sharply.
Seeing this, Gojo burst out laughing. "I was just thinking—Nanami, setting talent aside, your junior here is really interesting!"
Nanami looked at Gojo coldly. "From a certain perspective, the two of you do share some personality traits. Sometimes you're both disgusting in the same dogshit way."
After saying that, Nanami didn't give Gojo any chance to retort, pushed the door open, and left the room. Not long after, he exited the apartment altogether.
Leaving Chu Yang and Gojo staring at each other.
"Ahem." Gojo coughed awkwardly, then asked, "So… how much do you actually know about jujutsu sorcerers?"
Chu Yang shook his head blankly.
"Looks like I'll have to start from the beginning," Gojo Satoru said, scratching his head."Do you remember the thing that attacked you yesterday?"
Chu Yang nodded. "I remember. You guys called it a curse spirit, right?"
"That's right," Gojo replied. "Most ordinary people's negative emotions give off cursed energy. When a large amount of that cursed energy gathers together, it becomes a curse spirit."
"Negative emotions directed at specific subjects will produce specific kinds of curse spirits."
"Under normal circumstances, ordinary people can't see curse spirits. Physical attacks are useless against them—only cursed energy works."
"Whether it's curse spirits or cursed energy, they're all forms of curses. Beyond that, there are cursed techniques, cursed tools, cursed objects, and so on."
"Jujutsu sorcerers are professionals who deal with curses—exorcising curse spirits or destroying cursed objects that pose a serious threat to an area."
Gojo patiently explained everything about this world in detail. With that earnest, tireless demeanor, he really did resemble a devoted public-school teacher.
After listening for quite a while, Chu Yang was nearly nodding off. He finally looked up and asked,"So… how's the pay in this line of work?"
Gojo fell silent.
He suddenly felt that everything he'd said before had gone straight over Chu Yang's head—
only this question was what Chu Yang truly cared about.
But remembering that Chu Yang and Nanami Kento came from the same company, Gojo quickly felt at ease again.
"Uh… is that a sensitive question?" Chu Yang asked awkwardly when Gojo didn't answer for a long time.
It couldn't be helped. He'd spent too long being a corporate slave after transmigrating to this world—he had aftereffects. Any job without financial security was something he absolutely wanted no part of.
In that regard, he and Nanami Kento were exactly the same type of person.
"After a sorcerer is officially graded, they receive a base salary," Gojo said. "At the lowest level, it's roughly on par with a regular civil servant's pay."
"But every mission completed comes with bonuses—often several times, or even dozens of times, the base amount."
"So, any jujutsu sorcerer who's still alive generally isn't short on money."
Chu Yang's expression turned serious. "Out of everything you just said… it sounds like 'still alive' is the key point."
"Bingo!" Gojo pointed at him with both fingers and burst out laughing. "Congratulations, you got it right!"
"Of course, you can also choose to refuse becoming a jujutsu sorcerer. Not everyone who awakens cursed energy has to take this path."
Gojo's tone grew heavier. "But once you've awakened cursed energy, curse spirits will be drawn to you. No matter where you go, cursed incidents around you will only increase."
"At first, you might handle them easily. But as time goes on, truly unimaginable curses will appear."
"To be honest," Chu Yang said, "I didn't hear a single reason in your explanation that actually gives me room to refuse. Why don't you just tell me where I'm supposed to clock in for work?"
"Before becoming a professional jujutsu sorcerer, someone like you with cursed energy—I'd normally recommend enrolling at Tokyo Jujutsu High for some formal training—"
"School, right? I'm not going."
"…Is it just my imagination, or do you seem really resistant to studying?"
"Obviously! You never took the college entrance exam. Three years of high school and four years of university—do you have any idea how I survived that? If it were you, would you want to go back to school?"
"I can understand that, but I still recommend—"
"Then I quit. Let the curses come or not, whatever. Even if I die in the end, you sorcerers will still have to come clean up after me."
Chu Yang's resolute attitude made Gojo change his approach.
"Actually, studying at Jujutsu High isn't absolutely necessary," Gojo said. "As long as you pass my trial, I'll let you intern under Nanami."
Chu Yang frowned. "A trial?"
Gojo spread his hands. "If you won't even agree to that, then there's nothing to discuss. If it weren't for your rare talent, I wouldn't give you this much room to negotiate."
"And honestly, I quite like your personality. Jujutsu High doesn't have a second guy as interesting as you."
From Gojo's tone, Chu Yang could tell this was his final bottom line. After a brief pause, he nodded in agreement.
He really couldn't bring himself to give up this dangerous—but equally lucrative—profession.
Half an hour later.
Gojo brought Chu Yang to an abandoned development zone. Rows of unfinished buildings stood before him.
Even though it was early morning, Chu Yang felt a bone-chilling cold standing there.
"As a corporate slave who's been struggling in society for years," Gojo said, looking around, "you should understand how much blood and tears are buried behind places like these."
He sounded genuinely emotional. Because of his profession, he constantly faced the ugliness and darkness of human nature, witnessing countless tragedies.
"Hatred, anger, regret, greed… Even if you can't see them, you can feel how saturated this place is with negative emotions."
"Places like this are where curses are most easily born, right?" Chu Yang asked.
Gojo let out a self-mocking smile. "Exactly. Ordinary people's suffering is the best nourishment for curses."
Chu Yang sighed softly. "What do you need me to do?"
"This area was originally meant to be cleared by Jujutsu High students," Gojo explained. "Now the job's yours. If you complete it smoothly, the reward is yours as well."
Chu Yang nodded without another word. After warming up a bit, he walked straight into the ruins hidden within the city.
Watching his back, Gojo felt a trace of anticipation.
Since this was a task intended for Jujutsu High students, the difficulty wouldn't be too high.
The grading of curses and curse spirits matched that of sorcerers, starting from Grade 4 and rising upward:
Grade 4, Grade 3, Grade 2, Grade 1, Special Grade.
Between Grade 2 and Grade 1, there were also Semi–Grade 2 and Semi–Grade 1.
It looked like only five grades, but for sorcerers, it effectively meant seven tiers.
This area had been assessed—no curse above Grade 4 would appear—so Gojo used it to test Chu Yang's practical combat ability.
And even if something unexpected did show up, with Gojo here, nothing could threaten Chu Yang's safety.
The cursed energy in the area was like a hazy fog. A light breeze would scatter it, making it hard for Chu Yang to lock onto curses using cursed energy alone.
So he wandered around at random.
Most of the buildings near the front were structurally intact—the kind that could be lived in with just a bit of renovation.
But the deeper he went, the more common it became to see shattered concrete, exposed rebar, and collapsed roofs.
An air of desolation rushed toward him.
Clang—clang—clang—
A steel pipe suddenly fell from above Chu Yang's head. He caught it with one hand, squeezed and twisted it, forcibly crushing it into an irregular metal ball.
Then he tossed it away like a crumpled piece of trash.
Boom!
The moment the steel ball hit the ground, Chu Yang looked up at the third-floor window of a nearby unfinished building. A grayish figure stood there.
"A ghost? I thought it was a curse…"
"Looks like he was driven into a corner and jumped. Couldn't even resist—just making a bit of noise to scare people. Should I call him pitiful, or tragic?"
Chu Yang sighed, shook his head, and quickly left the area. A ghost that could be wiped out with a single punch had little chance of growing into a true curse if left alone.
The place was too deserted to continuously generate negative emotions to feed it cursed energy.
In the distance, Gojo, who had observed everything, suddenly smiled.
It wasn't his usual flippant grin—this one was warm.
"Not bad. No wonder Nanami looks after him so much."
Gojo stretched lazily and murmured, "I just hope he can always protect that kindness in his heart… and not end up like that guy."
Unknowingly, Chu Yang reached the final area of the development zone.
He looked around. There were no unfinished buildings left—only a devastated construction site.
The halted construction spoke volumes about the complete collapse of the funding chain back then.
At the center of the site, a curse spirit radiating an ominous aura paced back and forth. It held blueprints in its hands, its mouth muttering nonstop.
"Why did it fail…?"
"How could such a good project fail…?"
"That's impossible…"
Seeing this, Chu Yang immediately thought of that emaciated manager back at the company, sympathy filling his eyes.
The money went to the bosses. The suffering went to the workers.
"Rest in peace," Chu Yang said softly as he walked forward.
The curse spirit suddenly stopped. Its muttering ceased.
It snapped its head around, hollow eyes locking onto Chu Yang as black mist poured endlessly from its sockets—
as if it were crying.
The next second, the curse charged at Chu Yang like a madman. With every step it took, its body swelled dramatically.
In an instant, the manager-shaped figure transformed into a massive monster!
Its broad shoulder blades burst open with bloody holes. Flesh extended outward, rapidly growing into four thick arms.
Chu Yang stopped, the sympathy on his face vanishing. Irritation crept in.
"Can't you just lie down and die quietly?"
With Gojo watching, Chu Yang couldn't go all out. Techniques like Wood Release were clearly not suitable here.
That was why he was annoyed—this meant close-quarters combat.
The six-armed curse looked overwhelmingly imposing, like a walking "Hulk."
In just a few steps, it reached Chu Yang and raised one arm, smashing down at him.
Chu Yang wrapped cursed energy around his fist and threw a punch in return.
Two fists of vastly different sizes collided!
At the instant of impact, Gojo suddenly felt as if he were watching an egg collide with a meteor.
The curse was the egg.Chu Yang was the meteor.
The very next second, a violent shockwave erupted. The curse's arm exploded apart like soggy tofu.
Unwilling to accept this, the curse let out an enraged howl and continued punching at Chu Yang.
In the blink of an eye, it threw three more punches.
And then…
Three of its arms exploded.
The six arms that had looked so overwhelmingly oppressive were reduced back to two in the blink of an eye.
The curse spirit froze.
Then it began to tremble violently.
Fear—belated and overwhelming—flooded its mind.
It wanted to turn and flee, but its legs felt as heavy as lead, nailed to the ground, utterly unable to move.
An indescribable pressure descended like a mountain, crushing down on the curse's head.
In the end…
All it could do was watch helplessly as Chu Yang's fist slammed into its body.
BOOM!!!
The punch landed squarely in the curse's abdomen, like detonating a bomb, blowing its entire upper body apart!
The Gojo Satoru, who had been leaning casually against the railing, suddenly straightened up. He even lifted his blindfold, staring at Chu Yang with those breathtakingly beautiful eyes.
"He only used a very small amount of cursed energy to coat his fist. That power came entirely from the body itself."
"Terrifying…"
"If he were ever bound by a Heavenly Restriction, his physical strength might surpass even Toji Fushiguro. A zero–cursed energy body that also gains natural resistance to cursed energy."
"But the cursed energy filling his body is on par with that physique—enough for him to exorcise curses without relying on cursed tools at all."
"At this rate, he could at least grow into a Heavenly Tyrant with no weaknesses."
At the same time, the fog-like cursed energy lingering over the unfinished buildings rapidly dispersed, and Chu Yang emerged from the ruins.
Gojo lowered his blindfold again and smiled."Really makes me look forward to the future…"
The next day, a large sum of money appeared in Chu Yang's bank account—ten times his previous monthly salary.
After spending so many years as a corporate drone in this world, Chu Yang couldn't stop grinning.
"Being a jujutsu sorcerer really isn't a bad job."
...
One Piece World
Standing on the deck with the sea breeze brushing his face, Chu Yang frowned deeply.
His mind was filled with thoughts of Vinsmoke Judge's lineage factor technology.
Aside from Judge, the only other person who met the requirements was Vegapunk.
Caesar was a half-baked idiot—completely unreliable.
"Where the hell am I supposed to find the Germa Kingdom?"
As the world's only truly nomadic maritime kingdom—splitting apart into dozens of massive ships—it was basically no different from a pirate fleet roaming the seas.
Finding them was like searching for a needle in the ocean.
"All I know is that Germa is in the North Blue. That's it."
Just as Chu Yang was getting a headache over it, the cry of a seagull suddenly rang out overhead.
A newspaper dropped onto Chu Yang's head. Without even looking, he flicked it aside.
The paper landed neatly in Yasopp's hands.
"Today's news?" Yasopp grinned and spread the paper open, reading it carefully. Aside from parties, there weren't many forms of entertainment on board.
Newspapers were a great way to kill boredom.
"Pretty quiet lately…" Yasopp's eyes scanned the page, searching for something interesting.
At last, as he flipped the page, something caught his attention.
"The Vinsmoke family and the Donquixote family are fighting again in the North Blue?"
"Sounds like it's getting intense."
"What a shame. We should've taken the North Blue route back to the New World after leaving Foosha Village—could've enjoyed the show."
Yasopp's face was full of regret.
The Red-Haired Pirates were so famous now that challengers had become rare. Sometimes, even if they wanted to fight, there was no opportunity.
While Yasopp was complaining, Chu Yang's expression changed sharply.
He suddenly remembered something.
The reason the Vinsmoke family was roaming the New World was because they had lost the power struggle in the North Blue to the Donquixote family. They were originally meant to be the rulers of the North Blue!
And now, the Vinsmokes were still fighting the Donquixotes for control of the North Blue!
"Thanks, Yasopp!"
An excited Chu Yang slapped Yasopp hard on the shoulder and rushed into the cabin.
He was going to the North Blue!
At that moment, everyone was eating in the first-floor dining hall.
Shanks and Ben Beckman were chewing on meat while discussing their next route.
Chu Yang walked up to them and said solemnly, "Captain! I need to head out for a bit."
Shanks looked at him in surprise. After sailing together for so long, this was the first time Chu Yang had made such a request.
Crew members requesting temporary leave wasn't unusual—especially in large pirate crews on long voyages.
The famous Whitebeard Pirates, for example, never strictly restrained their crew's movements.
As long as they returned within the agreed time, it was fine.
Still, considering Chu Yang's age, Shanks asked about his reason for leaving.
"I want to go back to Fish-Man Island to see a friend."
"You mean the adventurer, Tiger?" Shanks asked.
"Yes."
"They're still traveling. You might not catch them even if you go now."
"I'll take my chances. If they're not there, I'll come back."
Shanks thought for a moment, then nodded and turned to Beckman.
Beckman smiled knowingly. "Yang, when you're done at Fish-Man Island, go straight to Water 7. We'll wait for you there."
Chu Yang asked curiously, "Why Water 7?"
Beckman rested a hand on the mast and said softly, "The Red Force has been sailing for a long time. We need to make some changes. Otherwise, this old partner won't be able to keep traveling with us."
Chu Yang's eyes lit up. "We're expanding the ship, right? I heard you talking about that before! Just saying—make sure you save me a room. I sleep alone!"
Shanks and Beckman exchanged a glance and burst out laughing together.
Without waiting for the next day, Chu Yang boarded a small boat and left the Red Force.
A short while later—
Once the Red Force disappeared from view, Chu Yang abandoned the boat entirely, activated the Ultra-Lightened Boulder Technique, and shot into the sky, flying straight toward the North Blue.
"Man… this feels amazing!"
Chu Yang shouted excitedly in midair.
Free flight was the ultimate dream buried deep within human DNA.
With Chu Yang's vast reserves of chakra, even flying all the way from the New World to the North Blue wouldn't exhaust him.
As the sky gradually darkened and stars began appearing one by one, Chu Yang successfully flew past Reverse Mountain.
He took out his map and began searching for the location of the Germa Kingdom.
Not the future sea-borne kingdom made up of dozens of massive ships—but the very real island it once was.
From high above, Chu Yang could easily match the distinctive features between islands with the positions on the map.
Finding the Germa Kingdom took only a few minutes.
After confirming the direction, Chu Yang continued flying. Half an hour later, he arrived at his destination.
But the sight below made his pupils shrink.
The island that should have been the Germa Kingdom was now drowned in an endless sea of flames.
Raging fire lit up the night sky like broad daylight.
Chu Yang suddenly recalled what Yasopp had mentioned earlier—the war between the Vinsmoke family and the Donquixote family was still ongoing!
Judging from the current scene, it was most likely Donquixote Doflamingo personally leading his family in an assault on the Germa Kingdom.
"Looks like I picked the perfect time."
Chu Yang planned to steal Vinsmoke Judge's lineage factor technology amid the chaos. Right now, Judge would surely be busy fighting Doflamingo, with no attention to spare.
With that in mind, Chu Yang immediately descended, flying straight toward Germa's royal palace.
Below was a blazing inferno—who would be watching the pitch-black night sky?
The fierce fighting nearby provided the perfect cover.
Just like that, Chu Yang slipped smoothly into the depths of the palace.
Listening to the sounds of battle outside, he constantly maintained Observation Haki, avoiding the soldiers rushing out to reinforce the front lines.
The Germa Kingdom had enormous numbers of troops, but its weakness lay in the lack of top-tier combatants.
Relying solely on numerical advantage, they had no chance of defeating Doflamingo.
After all, Doflamingo's String-String Fruit allowed him to manipulate others at will—perfectly countering human-wave tactics.
Coincidentally, Chu Yang's Puppet Technique was a natural counter to the String-String Fruit's control ability.
If stealing the lineage factor technology went smoothly,Chu Yang wouldn't mind causing Doflamingo a bit of trouble on his way out.
As he went deeper, Chu Yang found a room resembling a laboratory. Pushing the door open, he saw rows of cultivation pods.
Countless Germa soldiers with identical appearances lay sleeping inside.
"Let's start searching from here."
Chu Yang used Wood Clone Technique.
In no time, the room was packed full of wooden clones.
He then directed them to scour the area for documents related to lineage factors.
Time passed minute by minute—but still no luck.
The lab contained only experimental records about cloning.
Although Chu Yang could infer some information from these records, he had no interest in doing such time-consuming work.
He sealed the lengthy experimental data into scrolls using Sealing Techniques, then moved on to search the next laboratory.
The distant roar of cannons and thunderous battle cries seeped in from outside.
Chu Yang had to speed things up, checking three nearly identical labs in succession.
The result was the same every time—nothing but experiment logs.
"At this rate, I'll have to start rummaging through Judge's bedside drawer," Chu Yang muttered irritably, ducking into the final lab with his clones.
Still nothing.
Just as he was seriously considering raiding Judge's bedroom, the corner of his eye caught a small room inside the laboratory.
It looked like a standalone archive room.
Chu Yang walked in.
And then—
He finally found documents related to lineage factor technology!
Meanwhile, the battle outside raged on.
Germa unleashed heavy firepower with its advanced weaponry, saturating the Donquixote Family.
For a time, they even gained overwhelming battlefield superiority.
But as Doflamingo gradually took control of more and more Germa soldiers, the tide of war shifted dramatically.
Judge grew increasingly anxious, realizing he might lose.
He even considered deploying his four children, who had yet to fully mature.
In the end, reason prevailed.
Reiju and the others were still too young, unable to perfectly control their abilities—and without raid suits, forcing them into battle would be meaningless.
"Retreat!"
Judge ground his teeth as he gave the order. No matter how unwilling he was, he had to abandon Germa's land-based stronghold.
At the same moment the command was issued, countless clones poured out of the castle, launching suicidal charges at the Donquixote Family.
The young Doflamingo was just about to mock Judge's actions when he suddenly realized—
The clone soldiers he had already taken control of were charging as well!
Doflamingo's expression changed violently.
The Donquixote Family officers froze on the spot.
"Y-young master… don't joke like that… it's scary…"Trebol trembled, snot running everywhere as he looked at Doflamingo in panic.
"My ability seems to have malfunctioned," Doflamingo said with a twisted grin."That bastard Judge actually managed to screw me over before running away."
"When I catch him, I'll kill him!"
Diamante drew his sword coldly."Protect the young master!"
At once, all the officers formed a circle around Doflamingo.
"Oi, oi, oi—doesn't this make me look useless?" Doflamingo scoffed."Get out of the way!"
They parted, leaving a path.
Doflamingo stomped hard.
The ground instantly turned pure white.
Looking closely, it was all woven from countless thin threads.
The white threads surged like a monstrous tidal wave, annihilating everything—smoke, flames, and clone soldiers alike.
Chu Yang stood atop the highest point of the palace, silently watching.
He had briefly considered taking Doflamingo out while he was here—but quickly abandoned the thought.
Doflamingo's Devil Fruit was already awakened, and with his cadre beside him, the fight would be troublesome with little to gain.
The lineage factor technology was already in hand. There was no need to take unnecessary risks.
After enjoying the grand spectacle of fiery destruction for a while, Chu Yang left contentedly.
Next, it was time to seriously study lineage factor extraction.
Naruto World
Chu Yang in this world was also preparing to obtain Six Paths Sage Mode.
Beyond researching the Sage of Six Paths' power through bloodline, he still needed Sage Mode itself.
Ryūchi Cave, Mount Myōboku, and Shikkotsu Forest—the three great sage training grounds. What conditions were required to enter and train there?
Chu Yang didn't know.
The only thing he could do was take the back door.
Hashirama Senju's back door.
So for a while now, Chu Yang had been sticking to Hashirama Senju like glue, practically tailing him 24/7—just to find out when he learned Sage Mode.
The price was getting beaten up badly.
He was almost mistaken for a pervert.
Which made sense—Hashirama had just gotten married, and Chu Yang refusing to leave his side would earn anyone a beating.
Still, the beating wasn't for nothing.
Chu Yang finally witnessed Hashirama using Sage Mode during training.
It looked a bit rough—clearly something he'd learned not long ago.
But Chu Yang didn't care.
He immediately rushed over eagerly.
"Sensei! I want to learn that!"
Hashirama was already used to Chu Yang appearing out of nowhere.
"You want to learn… what?" Hashirama paused.
Chu Yang poked his own face a few times."That flashy thing."
"Flashy…" Hashirama instinctively touched his face, then realized."Oh, Sage Mode. That's not easy to learn."
Chu Yang grinned.
As his only direct disciple—and the unquestioned future clan head—Hashirama was quite indulgent toward Chu Yang.
After thinking for a moment, Hashirama explained in detail the entire process he went through to learn Sage Mode.
It was largely similar to Jiraiya's experience.
The main difference was that Jiraiya trained at Mount Myōboku, while Hashirama trained at Shikkotsu Forest.
Shikkotsu Forest was the training ground of the Slug Sage.
Compared to Mount Myōboku and Ryūchi Cave, Shikkotsu Forest specialized more in healing.
Under Sage Mode, this effect multiplied dramatically.
That was why Hashirama's regenerative ability in Sage Mode was so terrifying.
After explaining Shikkotsu Forest in broad terms, Hashirama said solemnly:
