[About Ifa]
Ifa is Natlan's most famous Saurian doctor, that is, a doctor who treats Saurians.
Like you, he always has a cute little guy by his side, a chubby Qucusaurus named Cacucu.
That Qucusaurus always says things like "No way, bro," but according to K'uhul Ajaw, while Cacucu appears to be saying "bro" on the surface, the meaning conveyed to Saurians is something entirely different.
I kind of want to raise a bird like Cacucu... oh, no, a Saurian like that, but I'm afraid the entire Natlan probably only has this one magical Cacucu.
[About Varesa]
My understanding of Varesa isn't deep; it's all things I've heard mentioned by Iansan. I hear her appetite is particularly huge, and she always takes first place in every eating contest.
In terms of eating, she's probably the strongest.
You ask, how does my appetite compare to hers? Well, all I can say is that I lose; my appetite is about the same as a normal person's.
When eating together with Mavuika and Iansan at the assembly hall, their portions are more than five times mine, and Varesa is only even more exaggerated.
Wait, did this just say something bad about them?
[About the Gods of Other Nations]
I don't know much about this; I still need you to tell me what these gods are like.
[Wanting to Know About Rios - Part 1]
I am currently single.
[Wanting to Know About Rios - Part 2]
A person like me has neither ideals nor dreams, isn't enthusiastic about anything, and yet I ended up with a Pyro Vision.
When I showed the Vision to Mualani and the others back then, they even thought I had painted pigment on the Vision.
[Wanting to Know About Rios - Part 3]
The people of Natlan either know how to sing, or dance, or play instruments, but I don't know any of that.
In terms of band positions, the role I could take would probably be manager, or cheerleader in the audience.
[Wanting to Know About Rios - Part 4]
Now that Natlan has settled down, I, as a warrior, need to find a job too.
Although writing is something I'm good at, I don't want to make it my main profession, because then even if I don't update, there wouldn't be any pang of conscience.
However, I haven't thought about what jobs would be good right now either. Before finding a suitable job, I'll make do by supporting myself with writing for now.
[Wanting to Know About Rios - Part 5]
Regarding the job hunting I mentioned earlier, I have an idea for now. What I want to do most right now is become a travel writer, traveling while writing.
You ask, didn't I say before that I wouldn't make writing my main profession?
I'm not making writing my main profession either; I'm just treating it as a hobby that can earn Mora.
Do it when I want, don't do it when I don't—where in the world is there such a great job?
[Rios's Hobbies]
Writing, fishing, eating, thinking of interesting things.
Among them, the one that takes up the most of my time is fishing. Sometimes an entire afternoon passes, and I haven't caught a single fish.
Some people mock my fishing skills as poor, but actually, I never intended to catch fish in the first place; I just wanted to kill time.
You say, doesn't Liyue have a legal expert who's not good at fishing either?
Maybe that one's skills are genuinely bad, while mine is fake bad.
That legal expert also says they're just acting?
As expected of an expert.
[Rios's Worries]
If I encounter worries, I usually resolve the source of the worries.
Just like before, when I was worrying about Natlan's survival, now it's all been resolved.
[Favorite Foods]
I like all delicious foods.
[Disliked Foods]
Unpalatable ones, foods that look unpalatable.
For example... fish.
[Receiving Gift - Part 1]
Smells great.
No wonder Paimon is always following you; she must know that sticking with you guarantees good eats.
[Receiving Gift - Part 2]
Pretty good. I'll go buy some sauces to go with it; it'll taste even better paired up.
[Receiving Gift - Part 3]
Hm?
I think I hear the Saurian partners in the tribe clamoring to eat these foods.
Traveler, if you don't mind, can I share the food with them?
[Birthday]
Happy birthday...
If you like, I can paint beautiful patterns in the night sky with flames as a blessing for you.
If you don't say anything, I'll take it as a yes.
[Breakthrough Feelings - Beginning]
Looks like I can still improve.
[Breakthrough Feelings - Continuation]
I can actually still improve.
[Breakthrough Feelings - Turn]
If I work a bit harder, I should be able to get even stronger.
[Breakthrough Feelings - Conclusion]
The end is also a beginning; continuing forward is progress, while regressing is retreating.
Before continuing to strive, let's first find the right direction.
[Opening Treasure Chest - Part 1]
After taking the treasure, don't throw away the chest; it can still be exchanged for some Mora.
[Opening Treasure Chest - Part 2]
Treasure galore.
[Opening Treasure Chest - Part 3]
There's really a lot of treasure here.
[Low HP - Part 1]
Not in good shape.
[Low HP - Part 2]
It's fine; I'm just pretending.
[Low HP - Part 3]
Time to use my brain for battle.
[Teammate Low HP - Part 1]
Don't be scared; I'll come save you.
[Teammate Low HP - Part 2]
Once I deal with these enemies, I'll take you to the doctor. I'm really fast.
[Downed - Part 1]
It's not a loss; just... tired.
[Downed - Part 2]
Remember to sing... the Ode of Resurrection.
[Downed - Part 3]
I will... return.
[Heavy Hit - Part 1]
Pretty strong force.
[Heavy Hit - Part 2]
That actually hurts quite a bit.
[Joining Party - Part 1]
With me here, there won't be any danger.
[Joining Party - Part 2]
Be careful not to get hit by friendly fire.
======
"Finally finished writing."
Rios actually hadn't written the voice lines for releasing Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst yet.
But anyone who's played Genshin knows that the more cultured the name shouted when releasing these two skills, the higher the flair.
Look at Lord Zhongli's skills—they're all poetic verses, so cultured.
So, this part of the lines should be left to the writers.
After Rios finished writing the character voice-overs, he saw that Mavuika's skill mechanics had already been adjusted.
Compared to the original design, Mavuika's support abilities had all been changed to self-buffs.
For example, the talent "Kiyangoz," which originally increased damage for on-field characters, now only increases damage for Mavuika herself, but the value added is much higher than before.
The off-field Pyro application from holding Elemental Skill is gone too, directly changed to riding the Flamestrider and slashing people, which doesn't feel like mechanics befitting a god at all.
However, the multipliers for riding the Flamestrider and slashing are much higher than the original.
The defense reduction effect in the constellations has become ignoring defense on her own attacks, with similarly higher values than before.
Moreover, the talents and constellations that increased her attack power have also changed, from increasing attack power to increasing attack multipliers upon releasing attacks.
This is probably considering that Rios's attack bonus is just too overwhelming; Mavuika's original attack power buffs for herself could even be called redundant—better to use them for multipliers instead.
Just as Rios had speculated, if he had made himself a support-type character, then Mavuika would become a pure main DPS, with damage even higher than the original version.
"But the current Mavuika doesn't lack attack, defense shred, or resistance shred. What artifacts should I make to outperform Obsidian?"
Rios pondered bitterly for a while, then realized he had fallen into a trap.
This new artifact set doesn't have to be exclusively for Mavuika.
Although Mavuika is releasing alongside the artifacts, it doesn't mean the artifacts have to be bound to Mavuika.
Can't they be used to strengthen old characters?
