After the expansion of the state of Dhaman and Jamil's entry into the new lands, he beheld a sight that struck him: a towering, magnificent building adorned with glazed tiles (Jalliz) and alternating patterns of black and white marble. He entered the structure, gripping his sword. Inside, he found people bowing and prostrating. He searched for idols before them but found none. He pointed his spear toward them, yet they remained still, unmoving in their devotion.
Jamil returned to his palace, but less than an hour had passed when he heard a voice echoing: "Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest..." (Allahu Akbar).
He rushed back to that building and found a blind man of noble character. Jamil sat beside him and asked, "What are you doing here?" The man replied, "We worship the Lord of the heavens and the earth, and we associate none with Him." Jamil asked, "How can you worship something we cannot see?" The man answered, "Do you see us worshipping stones that we fashioned with our own hands?"
Jamil returned to the palace and commanded that his wife be brought there, declaring this city the new capital. He sat in deep reflection, haunted by the old man's words. The following day, the King went to the Sheikh and said, "Teach us of that which you worship." They taught him, and Jamil's heart softened. He submitted his soul to Allah, the One, the Eternal Refuge
بعد توسعة دولة ذامان و دخول جميل راى شيئا اذا . راى بناية شهيقة مستعمل فيها الجليز و التعاقب
في الفقرات السوداء و البيضاء لقبته فدخل اليه حاملا سيفه . فوجد ركعا و سجدا فنظر امامهم فلم يجد اصنام فوجه رمحه اليهم و لم يحرك ساكنهم . ثم عاد الى قصره . و لم يمر اقل من ساعة الا و يسمع " الله الاكبر , الله اكبر ... " فعاد الى تلك البناية و راى شخصا اعمى حسن الخلق , جلس جانبه و قال " ماذا تفعلون هنا " قال " نعبد رب السموات و الارض و لا نشرك به احد " و قال" كيف تعبدون شيئا لا نراوه " قال " اترانا نعبد حجارة صنعناها بانفسنا"
عاد جميل الى القصر و ثم امر بان تاتي زوجته الى هنا و ان تبدل العاصمة بهذه و ثم جلس يفكر فكلام الرجل
و في اليوم المقابل ذهب الملك اللى الشيخ و قال علمنا من ما تعبد فعلموه و رق قلب جميل بهذا و اسلم وجهه للله الاحد الصمد
