The Shepherd Boy's Lie: The Wolf Is Coming wand looked like an adorable little white lamb. The instant Amon took it out, Nami's eyes lit up so brightly it was like stars were sparkling inside them.
For a little girl, that kind of design was lethal.
Nojiko and Nami immediately circled Amon, eager to know what it was.
Even Bell-mère felt her girlish heart stir when she saw it, but she was an adult, so she did not squeal like her daughters. Still, a flicker of delight flashed through her eyes. She watched the two excited girls with a gentle smile, while also growing curious about what the final treasure from the Jar really did.
"Mr. Amon, what is this? "
After spinning around him for a while, the two girls finally asked.
This was the first time Nami had actively asked about an item's ability after seeing the three treasures. She could not help it. The wand's cuteness was simply too powerful.
"This is called The Shepherd Boy's Lie: The Wolf Is Coming."
Amon held it up with a grin.
"It's a very magical magic wand."
As he spoke, he also explained the story behind the name, since the sea of One Piece did not have that fable.
"Nojiko, from now on you can't lie anymore. That's way too scary!"
After hearing the story, Nojiko felt a little shaken, especially at the part where the wolf actually came.
Nami, on the other hand, did not look particularly frightened. Her attention was completely glued to the wand.
"Hahaha, Nojiko is such a good kid."
Amon patted her light purple hair.
"That's where the wand's name comes from."
"And besides that, this wand has very powerful magic bubble attacks."
"It has five attack types, depending on the bubble's color."
"If it's a red bubble, it's fire."
"Purple is lightning."
"Black is earth."
"Blue is water."
"Cyan is storm wind."
"It also has two modes, real bubbles and illusory bubbles. You can use it to confuse enemies."
"For example, if you choose the 'Wolf Is Coming' mode, all the bubbles are fake."
"They only create visual effects. They don't deal real damage."
As he spoke, Amon switched the wand into Wolf Is Coming mode.
His wrist flicked.
A purple bubble floated out of the wand.
Then it popped.
In the next instant, the sky darkened, heavy clouds rolling in. Wild lightning surged through the blackness, thunder rumbling like beasts fighting in the heavens.
Boom!
A massive bolt of lightning crashed down right beside the four of them.
"Ah!"
The sudden, deafening impact made all three of them cry out in shock. For a moment, they thought they were done for.
Nami and Nojiko screamed and dove straight into Amon's arms.
Bell-mère handled it a bit better. She was an adult, and she had once served as a Marine in the Grand Line. Amon also said it was fake, so even though she was startled, she did not cling to him like the two little girls did.
But she was still deeply shaken.
If that lightning had been real, then aside from Amon, everyone here would have been blasted into nothingness.
She could not believe a Jar could produce something with such terrifying presence.
Amon laughed and patted the two little girls in his arms.
"It's fine. Didn't I say it's fake? It's just for intimidation."
"Huh... it really is fine."
"Yeah... but that seriously scared me to death!"
After Amon set them down, the two girls patted their chests, still trembling.

Amon rubbed Nami's orange-colored hair and handed the wand to her.
"Here. Try it yourself."
"Okay!"
Nami nodded eagerly.
Since it was in the illusory Wolf Is Coming mode, Amon was not worried she would wreck the orange grove.
"Bubble attack!"
Nami shouted, giving the wand a sharp shake.
Several bubbles floated out at once.
This time, cyan, blue, and red bubbles appeared.
The cyan bubble popped first.
A storm vortex instantly formed, wind howling like sharp blades, sweeping toward the orange grove in front of them.
The momentum was no weaker than a tornado.
Before the three of them could even fully react, the blue bubble popped next.
A surging flood burst forth, roaring like wild horses breaking free, crashing forward in an overwhelming wave.
The three of them went pale again. Even knowing it was fake, it was still terrifying to watch.
Then came the red bubble.
Before the flood had even faded, flames rained down from the sky, like molten lava pouring from above, grand and violent.
Nojiko screamed and dove into Amon's arms again.
Thankfully, all of it was illusory, so it did not cause real harm.
It was just unbelievably scary.
"This wand is amazing!"
Nami's face glowed with excitement.
"I can't believe something this cute can be this powerful. Thank you so much, Mr. Amon, mwah!"
