ROOOOOAR!
The Soul Soldier released another roar and readied itself to battle its opponents, its stance shifting to a more defensive posture.
All around it, all nineteen requiem guild members surrounded it, each of them ready to attack at once, their weapons drawn and their eyes fixed on the creature.
"Be careful," Cavin spoke, his voice steady, "Don't act yet..."
Even though Cavin hated what was happening, there was still a faint smile on his face, because to him and Empress, this didn't change what was about to happen, their plan still intact.
"We planned for an attack to defeat any opponent in this Monster Tide," Empress spoke, her voice calm and confident, "This thing doesn't change it, we'll kill it in one strike."
"What was it again?" Granite asked, his brow furrowed.
"It also has a soul," Cavin replied simply, "So... me and Empress will strike its soul with everything we have, ending it before it can cause any more destruction."
