Vice Admiral Caesar's face turned grim. Taking a deep breath, he spoke frankly, "Now that there's no one else around, I'll say this plainly. King of Heroes — while I don't have the authority to make this promise myself, I can report it to Fleet Admiral Sengoku. If you help us Marines secure the blueprint, every Devil Fruit seized from all the factions we subdue will be yours."
"The offer is tempting… but unfortunately, I have zero interest in any promises the Marines make. Disappear."
Vladimir didn't even bother looking at him anymore. He simply snapped his fingers, and from the golden portals above his head, dozens of holy swords that had been waiting to strike rained down like a storm.
SWOOSH! SWOOSH! SWOOSH!
In the blink of an eye, the entire Marine squadron of over a hundred men was wiped out.
Even the Vice Admiral himself was severely wounded by the widespread attack — a sharp blade piercing deep into his ribs.
"You… you monster!"
Caesar's face went pale. He crumpled to his knees and collapsed, unable to stand.
Vladimir ignored him completely and turned to leave.
Now, he held twenty-eight Devil Fruits — more than enough to advance his transformation.
It wasn't long before he found a quiet, secluded spot.
Perched atop the highest canopy of a Yarukiman Mangrove tree, he laid out the fruits and quickly absorbed sixteen of them.
A surge of immense, mysterious power coursed through his entire being, nourishing every cell.
As golden light blazed around him, the details of his Twelfth Transformation updated in his mind.
Twelfth Transformation: Gilgamesh
Rank: ★★★★☆
- Ability 1: Gate of Babylon
- Ability 2: Golden Armor
- Ability 3: Golden Vimana Ark
- Ability 4: The Star That Knows All, Sees All
...
Seeing the new ability, Vladimir paused in surprise and whispered to himself, "It's actually… The Star That Knows All, Sees All?"
"The Star That Knows All, Sees All?"
Vladimir murmured softly.
This new ability unlocked at Four-Star rank was more than he had expected.
He had assumed the next upgrade would give him access to the true Ea — the Sword That Cleaves Heaven and Earth.
From what he knew, The Star That Knows All, Sees All was a passive-type Noble Phantasm — one that remained active permanently without needing to be summoned or released.
Its function was simple and direct: it allowed its user to see through the true nature, history, and capabilities of any opponent or object at a single glance.
Though of course, the version Vladimir possessed was slightly different from the original.
"See all truth…?"
Vladimir shifted his gaze and looked down at the massive Yarukiman Mangrove tree beneath him.
Instantly, detailed information flooded into his mind.
Yarukiman Mangrove Tree: Age 1,651 years. Roots float upon the ocean surface, intertwining to form the foundation of the islands.
"Over sixteen hundred years old… How did I figure that out so easily?" Vladimir wondered aloud.
"I didn't have to think — the information just appeared instinctively."
Curious, he separated his original Phantom God form from his body, and the Star activated automatically.
Phantom God: ???
No information appeared at all.
"So it's not all-powerful after all… but still," he muttered, merging his forms again while extending his senses outward.
"This ability possesses calculation powers far beyond normal logic — it can even predict future possibilities."
Seeing the past… and calculating the future.
In that instant, Vladimir "saw" countless possible futures unfolding before him.
Under the Star's analysis, the chaos on Sabaody Archipelago branched into dozens, even hundreds, of different outcomes.
In nearly every scenario, Phantom emerged as the ultimate victor. There was only one exception.
The Marines.
In one specific timeline, the Marines successfully suppressed all the fighting on the island.
They even obtained the blueprint — or more accurately, the World Government did — and in the distant future, came into possession of the battleship Pluton itself.
"Hmm… why them? The Great Demon Lord of Fear is already holding them in check in District 69. What other cards could they possibly play?"
Intrigued, Vladimir delved deeper.
Every past and future event laid itself bare before his perception.
After nearly ten minutes of observation, he opened his eyes and concluded, "There's only one explanation… The World Government must have decided to use their National Treasure."
If he had enough magical energy, he was certain he could have deduced exactly what that treasure was.
"But regardless… the Marines must be stopped. Even if there's only a one in ten thousand chance, I cannot let them get their hands on that blueprint."
With that, he sat down in meditation to restore his strength.
Unleashing Ea and then using the Star to analyze countless futures had drained him heavily. His magical reserves were nearly empty and needed time to replenish.
...
While Vladimir rested calmly to recover his power, open war had already erupted across the rest of the island.
Nearly every major faction had converged in the areas around Districts 2 and 3.
There, the Whitebeard Pirates were surrounded and besieged by more than a dozen powerful New World crews, as well as five legendary figures who had survived from the era of Gol D. Roger himself.
True to Dragon's orders, Ivankov had brought the blueprint right into the center of the battlefield — and the moment he appeared, he drew the full attention of every group present.
And so, the great battle began!
At the same time, in District 69, deep inside a Marine base…
