Chapter 332 - 332. My Perfect Monster

They moved in unison, the vampire turning with a feral snarl, and her to release one wrist and wrapping her arm tightly around him, crushing him to her front even as he snarled and snapped at those closest to him.

With one arm around his middle, the other went around his throat and she held him pulled back against her, disabling him as much as she was able without assistance.

"Get them out. But if you have anyone you were planning to have executed any time soon, I'd appreciate their assistance here," she said to Russo, her body straining to contain the raging vampire.

Russo moved into action immediately, almost throwing his family out of the doors and then slamming them shut behind him.

Slowly lowering the man to his knees by dragging him down with her as she lowered herself, she kept her vice-like grip on him and he growled in a constant, unbroken sound of fury and desperate hunger.

Lowering him slowly forward onto his front, she slid her arm from around his middle and pressed down on his back, listening to the feral sounds coming from him.

"You're okay, we'll get you a nice, tasty human to eat and then you'll be all happy again," she breathed in his ear, his head cocking to the side to listen to the sound and his growling eased.

"It's going to be fine, I'm not going to let you eat any of those annoying family members you have, as much as I would enjoy that," she spoke quietly and calmly, her voice seeming to help sooth him. She continued to talk, murmuring into his ear until his growling subsided, though she still felt his tension, his blinding need.

The doors opened, and they both looked up, a man being shoved inside and the door closing again with a bang.

Tilting her head slightly, she smiled at the shackles. "Dinner time," she purred and rolled off him.

He launched himself off the ground, and the man screamed for only a second as her beautiful scion ripped his throat out.

Pushing herself up, she approached him and watched him feeding, his eyes locked on her in a way that felt oddly sexual. He was gnawing on the man and blood was flowing free of his lips.

"Don't chew," she scolded gently, reaching out to tilt his head further down and he growled in warning. "Don't you growl at me like that."

He blinked, and the growling stopped, though his eyes never left her as he drank and then dropped the man with a suddenness she didn't expect.

Looking down at the human, she saw that he was still bleeding quite heavily, though he had fallen unconscious. Her eyes lifted as Malik lunged at her and she hit the wall, his mouth hard on hers.

It took her only a second to process what was happening, and then she was kissing him back, hunger and the pressure of his body against hers drawing her in.

Forcing herself back from him, she gasped at the feeling of need that flooded her body and she fought to push it down, to shove it away from her, but it wasn't working, especially when his hand rose up between her legs.

Gasping, she tried to push him away from her, but her body refused to listen and when his fingers found her, she gave in.

Wrapping her arms around his neck, she pulled him against her and moaned softly against his lips, the movements of his fingers sending waves of pleasure through her body.

Breaking away from the kiss, she dragged her tongue from the point of his chin to his lower lip, blood coating her tongue and adding a rush of energy through her body that he responded to. His hand gripping her backside and helping hoist her up so that she could wrap her legs around his middle and his mouth returned to hers, hungry and wanting.

The door opened, and they froze, both hoping they wouldn't be noticed, pressed against the wall, but they weren't exactly hiding and the giant man cleared his throat, making them both look at him.

"You could at least wait until you married her, Malik," Russo said in a growl, looking down at the corpse.

Lifting a brow, she looked at Malik, and then back to Russo, unsure of what to do but Malik only growled and turned back to her.

It was clear he didn't care who saw, and she quickly forgot the existence of the giant as his fingers pushed against her.

Malik was suddenly jerked off her and she hit the ground, pain shooting up her spine as her tailbone hit the marble.

"That's enough, have some decency," the giant said.

"We wouldn't have to worry if you hadn't walked in on us. Leave and we'll be perfectly decent again," Malik hissed.

"You're not fucking a foreign Queen in your parent's throne room."

Well, if he was going to put it like that…

"Finish your dinner," she sighed, pulling her dress down, though the thing was ruined anyway.

Malik muttered something, and he made a face at the dead blood, but he still finished draining the corpse before letting it fall back to the ground.

Offering Malik a scrap of fabric, he wiped his mouth clean and then approached her to wipe away the smears of blood that had transferred to her.

"Better?" she asked gently.

He nodded, licking his lips and smirking at her at the mingled blood and taste of her. He placed a gentle kiss against her lips and then backed away to help him resist temptation.

"You made a right mess of him," Russo said, pulling the man's head up to see the partially destroyed throat.

"It was his first time," she said, irritated by the criticism.

"That's only an excuse for virgins," the giant said, and she couldn't help her snort of amusement.

Looking to Malik, she extended her arms to him and he came to her eagerly.

"I think you're perfect," she murmured, nuzzling against his jaw while her eyes lingered on the giant, a silent challenge for him to deny it.

"A perfect monster," Russo muttered.

"My perfect monster," she crooned.

Malik shivered at the sound and words she said. "I'm still hungry," he whined, and she shushed him gently.

"Me too, darling. Why don't we go hunt?" she offered, and his face lit up.

"You're not leaving," Russo growled.

"We will come back, but we both need to eat," she said.

Malik nodded, his hands gliding up over the tattered fabric at her back. "You should change," he said.

Nodding, she took his hand and guided him from the hall, smiling brightly as he followed along like a puppy.

"Malik and I will be back in a few hours, we must eat properly," she said and there was no argument, they could see the body.
