Junia's pov
The day of the second trial came.
Everyone was assembled in the court chamber and the contestants were given numbers.
Some were nervous and some like me…. nervous but kept our emotions hidden.
Even though I see myself as a master in diplomacy…I haven't done something like this.
I sat down on my seat next to a lady, who kept smiling at me. I sighted Ishkara coming towards the seats, something I haven't seen the other day after she asked me about Ignara.
Ishkara's gaze landed on me too before she looked away.
I knew she wasn't satisfied and she would come back for answers or seek it elsewhere.
And I also knew I hit a nerve when I asked her which of the slibings she really wants.
Ashmaris and his sister soon came into the court after they settled down on their seats and with a few introductions the contest began.
The herald called upon the first contestants of the day, The lady stood on a platform placed in the middle of the large court chamber.
