Zou Feng wandered through the labyrinthine tunnels of the Silk Cave, searching for a relatively safe place to begin the Refinement of the Third Grade Martial Artist's Corpse Poison.
But things didn't go as planned.
The reason was simple: many of the Celestial Essence Sword Sect's disciples were incredibly stubborn. They all knew the mountain was full of tigers, yet insisted on walking straight into the den.
As Zou Feng made his way through, he roughly estimated that there were even more Sword Sect disciples attacking the Silk Cave than there had been at Hundred-legged Ridge.
And the vast majority of them were male.
Normally, sending female disciples would have been the logical choice, as they would be less susceptible to the various seductive poisons of the Silk Cave.
This just proved that even the Celestial Essence Sword Sect was full of those with wavering convictions, people who insisted on stirring up trouble and testing their own weaknesses.
