The mountain air was damp and cold. The chill had frozen the mist and dew onto the rocks, a cold that seeped into one's very bones.
A great bonfire blazed in the mountain hollow, driving away the cold mist. A pack of grotesque Demon Cultivators were holding a banquet there. The charcoal fire glowed brightly, roasting chunks of meat on iron skewers. Amidst the aroma of wine, an even richer, meatier fragrance drifted from the large cauldron over the bonfire.
The Demon Cultivators sat on the ground, feasting ravenously. The Demon Skills they cultivated mostly prized speed, paying no mind to future consequences. They had transformed themselves into bizarre Demons: some had fleshy tumors growing from their foreheads, others were covered in green fur, and one even had an extra demonic head sprouting from his neck. Their strange and varied forms were too numerous to count.
