The Demon Birds flocked together, riding a pitch-black demonic wind. Lending each other strength, they caught up to the Flying Boat at a speed visible to the naked eye.
A piercing shriek was heard.
Yinjiao's hands formed a Sword Mantra. His Flying Sword shot into the air like a rainbow, transforming into a Water Dragon with shimmering scales as it charged straight toward the incoming Demon Birds.
"BANG!"
The lead Demon Bird was instantly blown apart by the Water Dragon, exploding into a cloud of watery mist.
Roaring and coiling, the agile Water Dragon bared its fangs and brandished its claws, slaughtering the rest of the Demon Birds. It then reverted to the form of a Flying Sword, returning to its sheath with a CLANG.
"Sword Light Transformation!"
The Cultivators on the Flying Boat cried out in amazement.
