Renee Gordon shivered, hiding under her blankets.
The shadow Aurora Sinclair had cast over her during the day was simply too immense. The moment she closed her eyes, she would remember the feeling of her body being out of her control, and she would scream in terror.
"Little Sis, what's wrong? Are you not feeling well?" It was the first time Lillian Gordon had ever seen her younger sister like this. Ever since coming home, she had been bundled up under the covers, trembling as if she had received a terrible fright.
Renee Gordon shot up, threw off the blankets, and gripped Lillian Gordon's arm tightly.
Her forehead was covered in sweat, her hair was a mess plastered to her face, and her complexion was so pale it was bloodless. Her face was full of terror, as if she had seen a ghost. "A monster... She's a monster..."
"Little Sis, what on earth is wrong with you? Don't scare me... Someone, someone get in here! Call a doctor—"
