"He's a person, not a machine. Of course he needs time to play and relax!" Naomi Kenway glanced at the butler. "Cancel this ridiculous Go class. I'm taking Ian for a walk!"
"Well..." The butler looked hesitant.
Naomi read his expression. "You can't make this decision, can you? Did someone else schedule this?"
The butler nodded.
"Let me guess. Ethan Shaw?"
The butler slowly nodded.
Naomi's eyes narrowed. Then she waved her hand dismissively. "Just do as I say. I'm not so powerless that I can't even decide on a small matter like this. If there's a problem, tell Ethan Shaw to come find me!"
Naomi was firm, and the butler could only acquiesce.
A short while later, Ian Shaw came downstairs with his small backpack on. He looked around but didn't see the butler anywhere, so he walked up to Naomi and asked, "Mommy, where's the butler?"
