"I just did a loop and found some cherry trees up ahead. They were a bit far, so I picked a basketful before coming back to tell you guys. Cherries are the most expensive fruit in the orchard, so picking them will be the most profitable. We can take our baskets and go pick cherries up front."
Ruby Preston's eyes lit up, and she gave a thumbs-up. "Naomi, you're the smart one!"
Renee Jennings frowned, looking at Naomi Kenway with a condemning gaze. "We can't pay Uncle Foster. Cherries are so expensive, how could you just pick them from his orchard?"
"What?" Naomi Kenway pointed a finger at the basket on Renee Jennings's back. "You think apples and pears are worthless? Since the production team has stipulated that all fruits can be picked, I haven't broken any rules. And you can get off your high horse and stop judging me."
