A moment later, the hotel manager came out, followed by a welcoming committee in a grand display. He stared at the butler in disbelief and hurried forward. "Butler Lewis, are you here for an inspection? Why don't you come in?"
Butler Lewis cleared his throat. "I heard someone booked out the entire venue. We were told we needed an invitation to get in, so here we are, stuck outside."
"Who was so blind? I'll have them all fired immediately! They have no sense at all!"
This hotel happened to be one of the Shaw Family's businesses.
The security guards at the entrance instantly panicked.
"That won't be necessary. They were just doing their jobs. There's no fault in that."
The manager nodded and bowed. "Yes, yes, you're absolutely right."
Butler Lewis said, "This is the Madam."
Surprise flickered across the manager's face. He quickly bowed again with his staff. "The Madam has come to inspect in person! Please forgive us for our poor reception."
"I'm here on business."
