"Why was it over so fast?" Jared Woods cried out in surprise. But when he looked at the stage, he saw Gene Woods sprawled on the mat, grimacing, while the victor, Ethan Shaw, stood there looking calm and composed.
The match ended so quickly that many people in the crowd hadn't even processed what happened.
"My daddy won!" Ian cheered, pulling Naomi Kenway onto the stage by her hand.
"Daddy, how did you lose!" Jared Woods burst out crying with a WAHHH. He plopped onto the ground, his short legs kicking wildly as he covered his face and wept.
Chelsea Raines covered her face with her hand, looking utterly mortified. "That useless oaf... He went down after barely a struggle. He's completely embarrassed me..."
Naomi Kenway was pulled onto the stage by Ian.
Ethan Shaw's breathing was still steady, and his clothes were perfectly smooth, without a single wrinkle. He smiled and said, "See? I didn't lie to you, did I?"
