The pores all over Zhou Yuanjue's body opened, expelling countless minuscule, "captured" Seeds of the Fierce Sun from his cells. This triggered a powerful energy release. Guided by his Divine Soul Power, the energy transformed into a thick pillar of light that surged violently toward Rainbow, who was suspended in mid-air.
To a certain extent, Rainbow's ability was seemingly unstoppable for any lifeform of a lower realm.
He used his extremely strong Energy Manipulation Power to compress his vast "Yang" Divine Soul into components several times smaller than a cell. The resulting energy fluctuations were nearly nonexistent. It could even jump through True Realm channels and appear suddenly in any corner of the material world.
Without a corresponding ability to stop this energy—in other words, without True Realm Energy of the same realm to counter it—escaping his attack was nearly impossible.
This was the so-called "Monarch Effect."
