Meanwhile, Song Wanning, who had been the target of the scheme, saw through the woman's trick at a glance.
Her Divine Sense had picked up on the Fox Demon long before she even approached, so Song Wanning had seen the whole hypocritical act from the start.
But she was on a mission and had no time to deal with such troublemakers.
If they insisted on pestering her, she didn't mind sending them on their way.
She Yi, on the other hand, was a little disappointed he hadn't been able to rescue the beauty. After all, the beauty of the Fox Clan was renowned throughout the Demon Race, rivaling even that of the Peacock Clan.
Such beauties were a rare sight in the Snake Clan.
But since Song Wanning gave no command, he didn't dare say another word. He just dutifully piloted the Flying Artifact, increasing their speed.
He had hoped for a smooth journey, but it wasn't long before they ran into trouble again.
