A soft, faint white light cascaded down from the hall's dome.
They were unidentified, fist-sized gemstones, studded densely across the stone dome. There were hundreds, if not thousands of them, bathing the spacious hall in light as bright as day.
Ling Changqing walked a lap around the hall, selecting a total of over twenty Daoist Soldier Puppets that were in relatively good condition. They were all second-rank, of Middle or Low Grade.
As for the Rank One Daoist Soldier Puppets, there were many more of them. However, their combat strength was too low to be of use to a Foundation Establishment Cultivator, so Ling Changqing didn't bother with them.
After all, using Daoist Soldier Puppets in battle required a Cultivator to divide their focus to command them. Deploying multiple puppets at once placed an even greater strain on one's Divine Soul Power, so more wasn't necessarily better.
