"Even if you didn't tell me, did you really think I wouldn't be able to find you?" Leon Lynch suddenly smiled.
Nora Ainsworth's heart skipped a beat. 'That's exactly what I was thinking.'
Leon's eyes traveled downwards, and his smile froze. "You're pregnant?"
Nora Ainsworth nodded, then walked inside. "Come on in."
Leon pulled his suitcase inside and closed the door behind him.
Nora Ainsworth poured him a cup of tea. Seeing his suitcase, she asked subconsciously, "Are you planning on settling down here?"
He sat down and cleared his throat. "I wouldn't go so far as to say settling down. But you're here, and I plan on staying for a while. You're not going to welcome me?"
"What about your company?"
"My old man isn't that old yet."
Nora Ainsworth let out a long breath. "Leon, you—"
"Don't." He cut her off. "I know what you're going to say, but don't get the wrong idea. I came here just as a good friend. Nora, don't be so quick to push people away. I'm not that scary."
