Meeting the parents wasn't an unreasonable idea, but...
Clara Grant's face scrunched into a frown. He was a dangerous man in her eyes, and she was afraid to be with him tonight.
"It's so late tonight. How about you meet my mom tomorrow instead?"
"It's fine, I don't mind the time," Seth Quinn said, gesturing for her to get in the car again.
"But..." Clara Grant held the car door with her hand, refusing to get in.
"Do I need to carry you in?" Seth Quinn raised an eyebrow and bent over, making a show of preparing to lift her.
Clara Grant's face flushed red again. She subconsciously glanced at Chase Childs, who was standing to the side. Realizing Seth Quinn was determined to come along, she could only surrender in resignation. "No, that's okay. I'll get in myself."
With that, she shot Seth Quinn a resentful glare.
'Fine, if he wants to come, let him. I'll just figure out a way to send him home once we get there.'
