River Sterling called out to her from behind, "Miss Shelby, where are you going?"
But he received no answer. In the blink of an eye, she had vanished through the doorway.
River Sterling, Linden Jennings, and Chase Childs exchanged a glance before turning their gazes back to Seth Quinn and Clara Grant.
Clara Grant pushed Seth Quinn away and tried to grab a wine glass again, but Seth pulled her back in one motion. He reached out and gently patted her cheek. "Clara, sober up a little. There's no more wine here. Let's go home and drink, okay?"
"No! I want to drink here! It has such a great atmosphere!"
Seth was exasperated. 'She's this drunk and still cares about the atmosphere!'
He stood up, about to forcibly carry her away, when Clara Grant suddenly threw her arms around his neck. She tilted up her pretty, flushed face, her hazy eyes staring straight at him. Her moist, red lips pouted as she suddenly giggled.
