At the mention of it, Seth Quinn remembered the fear and panic he'd felt yesterday when he couldn't find her. He instinctively pulled her tightly into his arms, bending slightly to rest his chin on top of her head.
Feeling the warmth of her body, his heart finally felt at ease.
Hearing him talk about the search reminded Clara Grant of something. Nestled in his embrace, she asked in a muffled voice, "By the way, how did you find me?"
Seth Quinn chuckled, half-joking. "Our hearts are connected. Of course I knew you went to The Tuberose."
"Pfft. Then who was it just saying they were frantically searching everywhere for me? If our hearts are so connected and you knew I went to The Tuberose, why were you looking all over the place?" Even as she retorted, a happy smile touched Clara Grant's lips.
Seth Quinn sighed, feigning annoyance. "Why'd you have to call me out?"
