As Seth Quinn was about to fall on top of her, Clara Grant wrapped her arms around his back to support herself.
But her hand touched something warm—a sticky warmth.
She instinctively pulled her hand back to look. Her entire palm was covered in crimson.
Clara Grant's mind went blank for a second. 'Seth is bleeding? Did he... did he really get shot?'
'But that gun wasn't supposed to be loaded, was it? So what just happened?!'
But she had no time to think, because Seth Quinn was sliding off of her.
Clara Grant snapped back to her senses, using all her strength to hold him up, but she was too weak. Seth Quinn continued to slide toward the ground.
Thankfully, Miles Quinn had also come to his senses and caught Seth from behind, preventing him from hitting the ground too hard.
"Seth! Seth, are you okay?" Miles Quinn knelt on the ground, shouting at his brother. Seeing no response, he whirled around and roared at the crew, "Are you all stupid? Get a car over here, now! Hurry!"
