As the thought crossed his mind, he quickly walked over to Clara Grant and exclaimed, "Ma'am, what are you...?"
Clara Grant didn't miss the look of surprise on Chase Childs's face. She gave a faint smile and said, "You're wondering why I'm back, right? I've wrapped filming, so I came back early."
Chase Childs nodded. 'It seems Ma'am didn't tell the CEO she was back. But as for why she'd sneak into the office without telling him... his romantically clueless brain couldn't wrap itself around it.'
"Well then, Ma'am, let me show you in," Chase Childs said, gesturing toward the CEO's office.
Clara Grant waved him off. "That's okay, you go on with your work. I can go in by myself."
Chase Childs nodded again. "Alright then, Ma'am. Please, go ahead."
Clara Grant walked to the door of the CEO's office, paused for a moment, and then knocked twice.
"Come in." Seth Quinn's deep voice immediately came from inside.
