"Don't worry, sir. I have people managing things back there," Sierra Sutton said, subtly glancing over at Autumn Shelby. "Besides, the company is very stable. You don't need to worry."
Evan Shelby was taken aback. He had been trying to hint that Sierra should return to the U.S.A. soon. 'He probably didn't get the hint,' Evan thought. After a brief pause, he decided to state his intentions clearly.
"Yes, but it's always best to oversee the business yourself. So, I think you should stay for a few days and then head back quickly."
Seeing that Evan had spelled it out, Sierra Sutton no longer hid his own intentions. He looked at Autumn Shelby and said, "I wasn't planning to stay for long anyway. Once Autumn gets her business done, we'll go back with her."
Autumn Shelby turned to look at him, frowning. Just as she was about to speak, Evan Shelby cut in, "Fine. When the time comes, if Autumn has truly finished her business here, you can all go back together."
