Crouching under her desk, Fiona King reached up and grabbed the newly distributed class report card from the tabletop. "Your total score is 691," she read. "You're ranked 4th in the class and 11th in the entire school."
Sharon Sterling was ecstatic to hear her results; it was a huge improvement from her last exam. "Great, thanks!"
Still buzzing with excitement, Sharon was about to hang up when she suddenly thought of Aurora Sterling. "What about that moron?" she asked.
"Which moron?" Fiona was getting uncomfortable crouching and shifted her position.
Sharon Sterling rolled her eyes. "Who else could it be? Aurora Sterling, obviously. Go find out her score for me."
A sneer spread across Fiona King's face at the mention of Aurora Sterling. "No need to find out. I heard she got hauled into the principal's office first thing this morning for cheating on the exam. She's probably getting expelled this time. Seriously, Sharon, that stepsister of yours is a real piece of work."
