The hall's domed ceiling was high, but its center had collapsed, spilling stone and earth onto the floor below.
Under the glow of the Magic Illumination Stone, the full view of the hall gradually came into focus.
The most striking feature was the massive mural encircling the hall's inner walls.
The mural's colors had long since faded, and large sections had peeled away or were damaged, but its depicted scenes were still discernible.
In the first mural, diminutive human figures prostrated themselves on the ground, worshipping a Giant Dragon in the sky. The creature's form dominated the frame; whether soaring high in the heavens or coiled atop a mountain peak, its posture radiated majesty and divinity. The humans offered it all manner of sacrifices, worshipping it as they would a Divine Spirit.
Ed looked on with some discomfort, his brow furrowed.
