Amidst a deafening RUMBLE, massive obstacles were rapidly piled up at the canyon's main entrance and the pre-calculated narrow exit. Dust and smoke filled the air, completely sealing off all escape routes for the Mammoth Herd.
The vast majority of the Mammoths were thus successfully driven into this natural cage.
However, on a battlefield, accidents are always unavoidable.
A mother Mammoth, apparently slowed by the need to care for a stumbling, slow-running calf at her side, had fallen to the very back of the herd.
The moment the canyon entrance was completely sealed by giant logs and rocks, this mother and calf were cut off on the outside.
They stared blankly at the blocked entrance, then looked up in terror at the circling Storm Griffin Group in the sky. They let out helpless, frantic cries, turning in circles on the spot.
Raylo, watching all of this unfold from the air, frowned slightly.
