"Why don't you give Laura Lowell a call?"
Iris Irving said, swirling the red wine in her glass as she looked at Austin Thorne.
Austin Thorne pulled his phone from his jacket pocket and dialed Laura Lowell's number, only for her to hang up on him immediately.
"She didn't pick up?"
"Mm."
Iris Irving took a delicate sip of wine. The dark liquid stained her dusty-rose-colored lips, making them look all the more sensual and alluring. "You still like Laura Lowell, don't you?"
Iris Irving was almost certain of this. Otherwise, Austin Thorne wouldn't have rushed over the moment he got her call.
Austin Thorne's calm eyes flickered upward, a slight arch in his brow. "That Aiden Shaw... doesn't seem to be into you. Maybe you should worry about yourself first."
Iris Irving let out a disdainful "Tch." "Don't you worry. He's as good as mine."
Ever since she was a little girl, Iris Irving had always gotten whatever she wanted.
And Aiden Shaw would be no exception.
