Celia Sterling's gaze fell on the man, her face filled with surprise. She couldn't help but murmur:
"Silas?"
From an armchair in the lounge area, Silas Norwood looked up. His amber eyes, shimmering with a soft glow, seemed to envelop her completely. His voice was as gentle and calm as ever:
"Mmm, it's me."
Once she was sure it was him, Celia Sterling's exhaustion vanished instantly. A joyful smile bloomed on her face as she walked over to him. "So when you said you had a business trip... you meant here?"
Silas readily admitted, "I came to keep my girlfriend company."
Celia gave a soft cough. "We've only been apart for a few days."
"It's the honeymoon phase. Without Cece by my side, every day feels like a year." Silas rose elegantly and gestured to his side. A group of bodyguards immediately dispersed. He reached out, pulling Celia Sterling into his arms. "Come on, I'll walk you back to your room."
"Where are you staying, Silas?" Celia asked casually.
