Jeremy Kane forced a smile. "Vera, don't blame Mrs. Archer for this. She's always been blunt. I just want to ask, where did this photo come from?"
Rona Langdon sneered, "Why does it matter where the photo came from! You just need to tell us if the person in the picture is your son!"
The question left them completely speechless.
For a moment, Daisy Archer and Jeremy Kane had no idea what Wesley Kane had actually done. But ultimately, they were in the wrong, so they offered a few placating words: "This must be a misunderstanding. We'll go back and ask him properly."
