So when the delivery guy arrived with the afternoon tea, he naturally came up empty.
Yu Qian happened to be coming out to get some tea and spotted the delivery guy.
"Who ordered afternoon tea?" Seeing the delivery guy looking conflicted, Yu Qian stepped in as the manager.
The delivery guy let out a sigh of relief. "The order is under the name Jiang Yao. She also had the shop prepare a handwritten card and specifically told me to deliver it to Pei Yan in person. Is Miss Pei Yan here?"
Yu Qian raised an eyebrow. "Jiang Yao?"
'The Jiang Yao she knew of?'
"Yes," the delivery guy nodded. "If Miss Pei Yan isn't here, could you sign for it? I have to rush to my next delivery."
"No problem. Pei Yan is in the recording studio." Snapping out of her daze, Yu Qian signed the slip the delivery guy handed her. Being the professional she was, she didn't glance at the card, instead tucking it under the keyboard at Pei Yan's workstation.
