Tristan Grayson looked at Kiki in the passenger seat and asked with a smile, "Where do you want to go play?"
Holding a baby bottle in one hand and stroking his chin with the other, Kiki thought for a long time before saying, "I want to see a mermaid."
"A mermaid? Okay, then let's go to the aquarium."
By the time he drove to the aquarium, it was already past one in the afternoon.
The mermaid show didn't start until after three in the afternoon.
Tristan Grayson first took Kiki to eat at a nearby restaurant before they entered the aquarium.
In the afternoon, it wasn't very crowded. The people they occasionally ran into were mostly young couples or families.
Kiki would stare a little longer whenever he saw a child holding both their parents' hands, but he would snort with particular disdain at the sight of a couple hugging. Noticing this little gesture, Tristan Grayson crouched down and asked with a laugh, "Kiki, what's that supposed to mean?"
