He tactfully thrust the lab report into Tristan Grayson's hands. "Uh, well, you two talk things over. Don't get too carried away. I'm just going to... get back to work."
With that, Aiden Avery was gone with lightning speed, vanishing in the blink of an eye and even closing the door behind him. In an instant, only Tristan Grayson and Mika Summers were left in the room.

By now, Mika Summers had snapped out of her daze. Seeing the troubled look on Tristan's face, she knew what he was worried about. 'It's just that some things are out of your control,' she thought.
