Andre Quincy had barely said a few words when a call came in. He answered it, said a quick word to Mortimer Quincy and Holly Winslow, and then left, giving Holly his phone number on his way out.
Watching him get on the elevator, Holly Winslow's expression fell. "Hubby, do you think your dad doesn't like me?"
Mortimer Quincy let out a low chuckle and gently stroked the ends of her hair. "You're so adorable, honey. How could Dad possibly not like you?"
Andre Quincy and Brooke Jarvis treated Holly Winslow even better than him, their own son, usually bringing her gifts when they returned from business trips.
He added, "Mhm. And no matter what my girl is like, my dad's son loves her."
"Loves her like crazy."
Holly Winslow couldn't resist standing on her tiptoes to pinch his cheek. "You're just a smooth talker," she said, beaming.
"Nope."
Mortimer Quincy raised an eyebrow, shaking his head with a straight face. Then he added, "I'm also great at... sleeping with... my wife."
