Holly Winslow: "..."
'If she didn't say anything, Iris and Anna would probably just keep asking.' Holly gave an awkward cough. "It was okay."
Anna Willow and Iris Kensington grinned mischievously at the same time. Anna was clearly skeptical. "Just okay? Are you sure it wasn't *very good*?"
Hearing her last two words, Holly couldn't help but laugh. "Anna, has your spoken English not improved at all?"
Anna let out a proud "Hahaha!" and said, "Never mind my English! The important thing right now is, was it *very good*?"
Iris chimed in, "Or maybe it was *wonderful*?"
Holly Winslow: "..."
She blushed. "Our friendship is over! For one minute."
The three of them joked and laughed all the way back to Holly's house to drop off their things before heading out to go shopping.
As they passed a hair salon, Iris suddenly said, "Holly, Anna, you guys should get your hair permed too."
Holly remembered a "dark chapter" from her past and shook her head firmly.
