"Who am I? Hah!" The man's bone-chilling voice echoed as his large hand gripped her chin. "Ashley Bowen, you tell me. Did you move heaven and earth to leave me five years ago just for him?"
She didn't remember anything from five years ago, so she didn't know if it was for Jenson Shelby. But Jenson had told her that the man she was with before had hurt her.
She lifted her head to meet the man's menacing eyes, a cold sneer playing on her lips. "You all have the wrong person. My name is Summer, not Ashley Bowen!"
She roared, flailing like a wounded cub.
"Don't you want to know who I am? My name is Yuri Sinclair. Remember now?" Yuri Sinclair's lips curled as he took a step forward.
She stumbled back in fear. The sudden movement caused her to bump into a shelf, making it teeter precariously. A large vase tilted, fell from the shelf, and shattered on the floor with a CRASH.
A shard inadvertently grazed her leg, opening a gash. Blood immediately started to flow.
