Vivian Lee perked up her ears, listening to their conversation. She couldn't help but roll her eyes.
'This Irene Tate is bursting with confidence,' she thought. 'She says she doesn't want to be a wealthy family's stay-at-home wife, as if Keith Flores has already fallen for her.'
"Excuse me, Miss Tate. I'm going to use the restroom," Keith Flores said to Irene Tate, suddenly standing up mid-conversation.
Irene Tate smiled and nodded. After he left, she started looking around, glancing at her watch from time to time with a bored expression.
Vivian Lee took a big gulp of her lemonade, put on her sunglasses, and stood up. It was her time to shine!
She and Keith Flores had an agreement: when he used the restroom as an excuse, she would make her move.
She strode over to Keith Flores's seat and sat down.
Irene Tate was obviously hostile. "Miss, excuse me, but I think you're in the wrong seat."
