But for some reason, he had a bad feeling.
"Mr. Sinclair… he left with Ice a few hours ago…"
"Damn it! Are any of the women here clean? How could you let Mr. Sinclair take someone away!" Howard exploded, clutching his head as the last of his drunken haze vanished. He was wide awake now.
He paced back and forth like an ant on a hot pan, at a complete loss for what to do.
It was his fault. He was the one who had egged everyone on to drink. If something went wrong, the responsibility was naturally his.
'If Yuri really did something to let Shay down, the consequences would be unthinkable.'
"When did they leave? Where did they go afterward?"
Howard roared.
The server frowned, scratching his head in fright as he tried desperately to remember.
"When they left, Mr. Sinclair had had a lot to drink. He didn't drive. The doorman hailed a cab for them. He should know where they went."
Before the server could finish, Howard had already bolted out the door.
