A voice continued to prattle in her ear.
Ashley Bowen grumbled internally. 'I'm not even sleeping on my stomach. Even if the sun were to shine on me, it'd hit my belly.'

The thought of her belly made her eyes fly open. She blinked. 'How could I let the baby get exposed to the sun?'
Her head swiveled back and forth. An alluring physique came into view, commanding her full attention and even eclipsing the sunlight from the window.
The man stood bare-chested before the window. The line of his spine was perfect, and his bronze skin was backlit, giving it a shaded, three-dimensional quality.
She couldn't tell what he was looking at that held him so rapt.
Now fully awake, Ashley Bowen shot up, knelt on the edge of the bed, and covered his eyes from behind. "Guess who?" she asked childishly.
"A little lazy pig," Yuri Sinclair replied with a grin.
