The week at the villa passed quickly.
Early on the morning of the eighth day, Joan Shaw woke up, ready to welcome a new day.
'I can finally go to work!'
As she pushed open the door, she ran right into Caleb Adler.
"Caleb, have you been standing here long?" Joan Shaw glanced outside and noticed a servant next to him, holding a large box.
Caleb Adler glanced at Joan Shaw's police uniform and frowned. "Joan, you're planning on going to work today?"
"Of course. Weren't you the one who said I only had to stay here for seven days? Let me tell you, I'm about to die of boredom. That sicko Miles Xavier has me trapped here, unable to go anywhere—I can't even wander around the mountains. I can't take it anymore, I really can't!"
"So, you want to go out, Joan? Change into this. President Xavier is taking you somewhere in a bit." After speaking, Caleb Adler gave the servant a look.
